YF, telepaths, similar to twilight

The story opens with two people walking into a clearing in a forest. They are both teenagers - one girl, one boy. The girl is a telepath and the boy human. The boys says something like “I know what you are” to the girl.

This was all I read as I was only browsing in the shops when I came across it. It seemed to be very similar to twilight - kinda like a opposite gender twilight. It came out during the big twilight craze.

Still looking. I only read the opening bit to the book so I don’t know all of it. I was browsing Kmart when I came across it. It was Teen Fiction for sure. It was written in a similar kind of tone and setup as the twilight / Fallen books.
