FEBRUARY 2018: Dusty Bookshelf Challenge

Based on your likes/dislikes, I'm thinking this one might be right up your alley:

Enjoy!

For you, I choose:

For your extra book in the horror genre, I see that you have already read several of my favourites, so I will recommend my most favourite ever: Let the Right One In by John Ajvide Lindqvist.

You may have seen the film, but the book is even more amazing - any of his books are well worth reading! Very creepy and atmospheric and different from most other stories.
(I see that you are from Norway, so you may even consider reading it in the original Swedish or the translated Norwegian, since his language is a large part of the story)
Enjoy!

I Pick

I had a hard time choosing just one bonus book for you, but

Side Note. Firelight and Ready Player One were the runners up.

For you I pick

here are my choices for you:

Thanks. Love your choices and I've wanted to read Dear Agony. I love Georgia Cates' books

I'm not sure if they're in audible. Hope so! Enjoy!

Thanks, Karen!! I appreciate and bonus choice. I think I'll like it, and it's available at the library!

Thanks. Yep, that's what I figured out too.

Thanks Connie!

I've actually read two books on your shelf, and I can highly recommend a Hugo and Nebula Award winner that you have marked to read!
My picks:

I secretly hoped that American Gods gets to be chosen. So thanks for the expert pick. :D
I really enjoyed Ender's Game and then I found out what kind of person the author is. I will have to think about whether I'll delve into Speaker for the Dead. I don't have this problem when it comes to music. I love& listen to Wagner's and Beethoven's music eventhough they were jerks in their private lives.

Preferred Genre: I don't read horror or dark fantasy so don't know much about them, so I went with these..."
Thank you Penumbra!
Yes! Those are great choices, thank you!
I've wanted to read Six of Crows for a while. I'm actually reading an Ursula K. Le Guin book now, and was planning on reading more stuff by her (RIP) this year so I'm happy with your bonus picks!!!

For your bonus, I pulled a Chick-lit title from your TBR:

Thank you Marty, these are all great picks. I love my cozies and the Tony Hillerman books are such good mysteries with so much education of the south west and the Native American culture.

In any case, my picks for you are Scythe and The Bear and the Nightengale.
For the preferred genre pick, I choose The Blade Itself by Joe Abercrombie.
I hope you enjoy all your picks (I'm currently reading Scythe and am really enjoying it).
