MyzanM | 156 comments I was just now typing my finished books into the spreadsheet, but there is no column for the "0"(Zero).
Don't we have any?
I have 3 books that fits that category so if it's just an oversight let me know when it's fixed and I'll put those in as well.

Thank you. I’ll update my books later after I get home from work.

MyzanM | 156 comments Kaylee, I read Every Heart a Doorway last year. I've put that in the SS for you. I put in the date I finished it as well as my name
If I'm mistaken about how reverse works just erase my addition.

I agree, it was really good. I just got my hands on books 2 and 3 in the series so I'm hoping to fit them in somewhere the next couple of months.

Vanessa Gayle ⚔️ Fangirl Faction (fangirlfaction) | 86 comments I finished Assassin of Truths (Library Jumpers, #3) by Brenda Drake on Sunday night. I will add it to the spreadsheet when I get home from work tonight. =]

Shamber | 151 comments @ Kaylee....can you confirm Quidditch Through the Ages is long enough to count for UNO, please? Thanks! :)

message 114: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Wilson | 621 comments Arbookfinder.com says that its 10,000 words.

message 115: by Kaylee (new)

Vanessa Gayle ⚔️ Fangirl Faction (fangirlfaction) | 86 comments Are we not updating the main spreadsheet as we complete tasks?

MyzanM | 156 comments Vanessa wrote: "Are we not updating the main spreadsheet as we complete tasks?"

There’s a link to Kaylee’s spreadsheet in message 5. But I’ll post it here too in case you don’t find it.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...

ETA: I might have been too quick to answer. I think Kaylee wants to fill in that herself and her spreadsheet allows her to pick and switch books around to where they are most needed.

message 118: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Wilson | 621 comments Im the only one with editing access to the main spreadsheet. Its just easier to make sure it doesnt get all jumbled up! :)

message 119: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Wilson | 621 comments Also, Shamber, UNO Pixie says “Quidditch through the ages” does not work for the challenge because its a childrens book and doesnt have enough words. I’m sorry! Those books are very fun though, my sister loved them!

message 121: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Wilson | 621 comments How did you like it? I quite liked that book, I read it last year.

message 122: by Rachel (new)

Rachel (stillchasethewind) | 452 comments Kaylee wrote: "How did you like it? I quite liked that book, I read it last year."

I loved the main character and his love of books. I loved Lettie, the story, and pretty much everything about it tbh.

message 123: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Wilson | 621 comments Same. Its so precious the end made me so sad but I was okay with it because I loved the rest of the book so much??

message 124: by Shamber (new)

Shamber | 151 comments Thanks Kaylee! Bummer that it doesn't work for this challenge :(

message 125: by CAROLYN (new)

CAROLYN Wyman | 23 comments It wouldn’t let me add to it

A while ago, we asked you to head to THIS THREAD to post three (3) favourite books/series, up to a maximum of five (5) for those of us who have a hard time deciding ;-), you would recommend to others.

As some of you have already guessed, this will in some way be incorporated into an upcoming optional mini challenge. (Nope, our lips are sealed still, we are not going to tell you what it is :-p)

However, a surprisingly large number of players have not posted any recommendations yet. Unfortunately, that might make things difficult for your fellow players as well as yourselves.

Please, please, post 3-5 recommendations in the above mentioned thread. If you don't, we may be forced to take unwanted action as a result.

message 131: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Wilson | 621 comments Did you guys post some Reccs? I just posted mine! :)

message 132: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Wilson | 621 comments Carolyn I added the books you commented the information on into the spreadsheet, double check for accuracy please

message 133: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Wilson | 621 comments Fiona will you please look at your entries in the spreadsheet and make sure that they are correct! I don't think your cards are in the correct place. Thanks!

message 134: by Fiona (new)

Fiona Grant (fingordie) | 24 comments Will do, I’m still rather confused by it all

Shamber | 151 comments I can add The Lightning Thief (Percy Jackson and the Olympians, #1) by Rick Riordan to my reading list this month for the green 1. Does that work team leaders?? :)

Kaylee Wilson | 621 comments Yep! :)

Marte - Thunderella | 38 comments Hey guys, I haven't been active in chat due to RL, but I am reading! Will come back with updates. :)

Marte - Thunderella | 38 comments I've read Seven
Seven (The Others Project #1) by Adrienne Wilder by Adrienne Wilder.

It fits cards:
1 - book one in a series
2 - characters with T: Terry, Thirteen, Three
4 - characters with F: Four
6 - titles with S, Seven, characters with S: Seven
7 - seven in the title
8 - character with E: Eighteen
9 - character with N: Nine

I hope I did this right. :)

Marte - Thunderella | 38 comments Kaylee, I requested edit access for the spreadsheet, but reading the comments here I see you want to edit it! I read the first comments and you said you wanted emails so I sent it.

message 143: by Kaylee (new)

Kaylee Wilson | 621 comments The google link in Message 5 is the one you should request access to!

Yes, yes, you have guessed it already - the recommendations were not only for our pleasure but there was something more to it ;-)

Since some of you have already added a few of the recommendations to your TBR shelves, we figured that would be an ideal title for our February Mini Challenge. ;-)

All info for the mini challenge can be found HERE. Have fun!

(Co-)Captains, your spreadsheets will be updated with a new sheet for the mini challenge within the next 24 hours.

Yes, I did Rachel. The beginning was a bit slow, so it took some times for me to care. However, once I got a few chapters in I was hooked. I found the writing and the story well established. I've already reserved Cruel Crown (Red Queen, #0.1-#0.2) by Victoria Aveyard and Glass Sword (Red Queen, #2) by Victoria Aveyard from the library. I'm ready to see what happens next.

Rachel (stillchasethewind) | 452 comments Oh dear, the mini challenge seems... complicated. How will we choose?

message 150: by Shamber (new)

Shamber | 151 comments I'm already reading some Narnia books. One of the teams have them on there. So I could easily add that, but I am up for whatever! :)
