Thank you, i edited it as much as i could to reflect the search I'm actually on. I actually had the book i want to find and The Headstrong Ward mixed up in my mind and thought it was all part of the same book and not two different ones. Thanks.

Thank you, I tried that, and again just now. No luck. I did find a list that isnt on good reads but lists novel, author, animal and name of animal... not there either but a great list, but you don't list off site info, right? Such a list would be awesome if it were more complete...

SORT OF SOLVED! Thank you Andrina for the lead. I had also seen it on the lists... but was SO convinced that the book i wanted was also on audio (indiscreet isnxt) that I simply downloaded the book to read and kept on searching. It is indeed INDISCREET by Kasey Michaels that has the bird , named Ignatius, that I was thinking of... HOWEVER... there must yet be another regency type romance out there with yet another parrot, because this tale is NOT the one I was thinking of, altho it is the parrot I remembered....

Anyone remember yet another but with someone actually after the bird?

They actually were a thing, quite prevalent through history... back to the Egyptians....

and the naked series is one of my favorites!

I didnt delete it, you did. I went to the old post about a different book and changed it to fit this search, since its a continuation anywzy, lol.

The only other thing i remember is a scene on someones porch.... trying to keep a man out.
