Haha that's a good update. I'm so excited to get to this one, ever since I first heard this book talked about on BookTube I've been excited, and it's just gotten more and more hype since then.

I mean I'm sure the reason why her father fled from Everless is more than because she saw Liam pushed Roan into the fire. It doesn't seem big enough for her father to act that way, fled and stay away from the Everless for the rest of their life, if possible. (hide spoiler)]

This is so true. I discovered YA last February and I've read sooo many 1st books in a series. In 2018 I will have a heap of book two's to read.

I had never heard of YA books before I spotted an ad on Facebook for Owlcrate last February. I had in fact read Code name Verity and Rose under fire a few years ago because I like World War 2 books but I didn't know that they were YA.

Chapter 22 (view spoiler)[As much as Jules thinks that Caro is her friend, I still cannot trust her. There's something off about her. I don't believe that she go to the vault, not really go inside of it anyway. Maybe she pretended to go in? But still cannot find his motive other than she's the right hand of the Queen. And I feel that she's more than her right hand, like when Jules saw the Queen in front of her room, she looked like a weak person and Caro can give her strength or something like that back. I think they hold answers to her questions about her family and why her father (her uncle) insisted that she should stay away from the Queen. And I do think Liam is a good man, despite his strict and stiff personalities. (hide spoiler)]

But one thing that I'm still wondering and doesn't have any answer is does it mean that Jules' father (uncle) finally knew that Liam is trying to help them? as he sent him a letter in chapter 27.
