Just added it to my tbr..lol For some reason I am all over stories that tell the possible true stories that have been lost but history wants us to find.

I am currently reading Jackie, Janet & Lee Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Janet Auchincloss, and Lee Radziwill -- The Other Side of Camelot by J. Randy Taraborrelli

I seriously can't believe this was their real life! Each one of these women are interesting characters. I don't know why but whenever I watch or read something on JFK's assassination, I get really teary and a little heart broken. That is where I am at the moment and have put it down. It's weird to me, because I wasn't even born yet. Hopefully today I can get through it. Every single person named in this book's lives were made for reading.

Victoria | 259 comments reading Tempests and Slaughter (The Numair Chronicles, #1) by Tamora Pierce and so far (97 pages in) I am just not enjoying it. I hear a lot of good things about this author, and this is my first book by her, but so far it is just boring. Literally not a thing has happened other than some out of control magic and lots of school classes, I feel like I am in school with them. It feels like it is trying to be Harry Potter and it is failing miserably.. sticking with it a little longer to give it a chance.

I have it because I have read all of the raving reviews about this Author and all of her previous work. I know this book is a spin-off of one of her older series but I really dont want to read a seriously long series just to get the feel of this book! I hope it can stand on its own!

Teresa | 606 comments I decided to check out last years RITA award winning books. I started reading one by a favorite author of mine. First chapter was set in the ER and it was all wrong!!! I just finished The Complete Collected Poems by Maya Angelou Phenomenal Woman Four Poems Celebrating Women by Maya Angelou and an ARC of The Rainmaker (Saga of the Chosen Book 2) by Petra Landon which is due for release right now...the second book of this series that I love. It's a very intelligent and well thought out PNR and Urban fantasy story.

I'm about to start The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas and The Fandom by Anna Day for the YA book club I signed up to attend at our local bookstore, which I never knew existed up until now...eeepppp I'm so excited to participate in a real-life book club lol

The series isnt at all like the book I watched the first episode and peeked in on a few while my Daughter and her Fiance binge watched it. I didnt care for the book really , It was ok but meh ... Season 2 of 13 Reason why I think is starting this month ... Totally not the book at all because the whole book and more was in the first season. Maybe I'll give it another go sometime doubt it tho..

And YES she was trying to make them feel guilty ! She was calling them out not just for what she went through but for what they all did and didnt do including herself. Basically she was saying She was to chicken to deal with it all so ... But were they? ... thats basically it.

I HIGHLY recommend The Handmaids Tale TV series its flippin Brilliant I loved it !! and the second season is starting up this month also !! I cant wait for it looks like its going to be more dark and gritty than the first season!
