I have requested book 2 looking forward to reading it! The same friend also suggested the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones book 1 is I have that one requested but I keep suspending the hold. Has anyone read this series?

I’ve read the first two books and enjoyed them but got sidetracked. It’s a very popular series in the UF genre.

I love Charley...great series! Snarky, and sometimes cheesy humor which just adds to the appeal for me.

I finished . While it is a deeply disturbing fictional story, it is based on a real life kidnapping that occurred in 1948. I researched the story after finishing the book. Truly a heart-breaking read - but beautifully and carefully rendered. My Review

It's a heart-breaking story made even more so by the fact that it's based on a real life abduction. IMO, the author did a good job with the care taken in delivering it.
