My husband’s 40th birthday was today and tomorrow we need to run around for his party on Saturday. We have it catered, but it’s still 55 people coming to our house so some organisation is required!!

I'm currently reading a book now for team Ceres, but will you fill me in on team Saturn for Accidentally on Purpose. It fits with the teams rec of Simply Irresistible in several ways:

It's by the same author, they are both contemporary romances, and they have the couples on the cover are in the same pose.

I'm currently reading The Martian Chronicles. It can fit in with Part II of the mini challenge as one of the team members of Team Neptune recommended The Martian. They're both set in mars and also have a similar title.

Hi Team Sculptor, from team Jupiter. I just finished reading , which someone on your team suggested. I was surprised I hadn't read it before. I'm really glad it was recommended as I really enjoyed it. I think the introduction from the author was maybe as good as the novel. I did find the novel engaging which isn't always the case when trying to critique something. Thank you for the recommendation.

I finished reading The Martian Chronicles and updated the tracking sheet. It can also count for Part II of the challenge for The Martian as recommended by Team Neptune.

And I have another book that fits with another recommendation from Team Neptune. I'll be reading Children of Time which fits with the book Nyxis. Both involve a planet called Eden.

Great reading ladies!!

I finished Force of Nature today which I really enjoyed. I'm looking forward to more in the series! It also works for part 2 of our challenge.

Now I'm going to start The Rose and the Thorn which also works for part 2 (team grus) of the mini.
I am getting through The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society for part 1, but I could only get it from the library as an ebook which means reading on my computer and that takes me a lot longer

Hi Team Sculptor. I’ve read which someone here recommended.
It’s not the kind of book I usually go for, but since I like both science and historical I thought “Why not?”
I’m really glad I gave it a chance even if it never will be one of my favorites. As a science nerd and teacher it always makes me happy when someone, especially children, discover something new that spur their desire to know more.

Hi, Team Sculptor! I'm Michelle from Team Jupiter. Just stopping by to share my thoughts on one of your books for the mini-challenge.

I just finished Ink and Bone and gave it a solid 3*.

(view spoiler)[It wasn't the most original YA Dystopian novel I've ever read, but I really did enjoy it. I thought the characters were fairly well written and the storyline flowed well. Very nice writing style as well. I was a little disappointed in the ending. I was just hoping for more for Jess than what he got. I may have to read the next book in the series to see how things work out for him and to see if Morgan ever gets free of the Iron Tower. (hide spoiler)]

Hi Michelle - It wasn't my book, but I have read it and generally agree with what you wrote. Unfortunately the author has now turned it into a 5 book series so it will be a while until there is a conclusion! ;)
