I stole that from Goodreads... it tells you the longest in the yearly book stats page...

The only problem is graphic novels and short stories make the number quite low... I just read a 22 page short story, where otherwise the shortest "books" I've read are usually 150-200 pages... I think that's the transition point between novellas/shorts and novels/books...

I think Google just assigns animal avatars whenever someone accesses the sheet... I don't know why some people get their name/picture and others don't... maybe it's just people that keep their browser/app logged into Google...

Clicking the avatars just takes you to whichever sheet they're on... I don't think the Jackalope is you... it's whoever is already on your page looking at it... not sure you can see your own random avatar/name, unless you open the message tab and start talking...

Just wanna let you know that the team tally for Tome Raider is showing 0 on the Scoreboard. Not sure why.

Also, forgive my OCD, but for the individual rank on the Scoreboard sheet, rank #43 is missing. Kinda bothers me a little bit to see that number missing all this time lol.

I meant to post about this... the last version where Tome Raiders worked was March 14th @ 1:05pm ... not sure what happened, but when I tried to figure out if there was a way to revert the changes that caused it, my browser stopped responding...

I tried just looking around a bit to see what the problem was... the rank 43 thing is because someone deleted the formula... I copied the formula down from Rank 42 and that's working again... Aristea's % was still working because he formula was acting like she was in House of Chains, so no dividing by 0 like it should at the moment...

The Team Tally is a mystery tho... the formula is correct... it even SAYS it should say 1692.2 if you click the cell and hover over the formula, but it's printing 0 anyway...

Thanks Iain. I'll leave it to you and Rob to figure things out. I took a alook at the formula a little bit (and although far from an expert in excel / google sheet, I now just use them to do simple P&L calculations lol!), I also couldn't figure out what's wrong.

It must be a formating error, right? Though, if you refer to all of them in the next column it calcs. So wtf?

EDIT: I'm not familiar with Matrix formulas in Google spreadsheets, so it might be something regarding that.

Yea... the H column in the Team Scoreboard is acting up... someone replicated the list in column I and got a working sum... so I just replaced Tome Raider's tally on the Scorecard page with ='Team Scorecard'!I19 for now... until someone can clean it all back up... in the meantime the broken formula is in the cell next to it, still showing 0.0

You could also copy the formula of cell N7 (Team Scoreboard tab), it works just fine. That way, there's no need for the I column.
This is just avoiding the problem though. I think the problem comes from the SORT function.

EDIT: I deleted the formula of G3 (the SORT(...)) and rewrote it. It works now. I don't understand. But it works :o

Yea... I hit 10.3k on January 25th because Warbreaker took me 2 days and was 700 pages... Julia hit 10.2k on January 30th (she really picked up speed in February/March until she ran out of library books last week)...

Choko hit 10.3k on January 24th with Sword of Truth... I remember doing this math once before...

Has Jessica been removed from the competition?...

Her name appears in the Team Scoreboard and Pages Read scoreboard with no data, because her tab has been deleted... but she doesn't appear on the main Scoreboard except as a blank entry at the bottom of the Solo Rankings...

Looking up Jessica in the signup sheet, my conspiracy theory is that she is why Blood Eagles are lagging behind House of Chains:

I never said she isn't legit! What I'm trying to say is that she's a very diligent reader and earns a lot of points. She surly makes up for the missing points of Jessica, so I think Iain's theory is wrong ;)

aww! maybe she just forgot? Originally before we had the sheet she could have just thrown her log down on December 31st though on the dedicated points thread without us really having a clue as to who was in the lead or not :)

Possibly. I may be stirring things up unnecessarily. If you can get her to participate at this point then I'm cool with whatever. I was kind of going off my plan for my own noshow, to give you an idea where the thought process was at.

I think it was always the mod plan to drop no-shows by the end of February... they just got busy... Ann-Marie and Rea never showed either... only team with 100% participation before Jessica was deleted, has been House of Chains...

My comments about Blood Eagles falling behind with Jessica's deletion were spurious once I looked her up... she's never commented in the Blood Eagles threads...

There's something wrong in the Team Scoreboard. It looks like at least Yanique (House of Chains), Tania (Bloody Eagles) and Siobhan (Jaghut) has been switched around. It messes up the scoreboard. Maybe it's adding Jessica again?
