Yes that's the bad side of reading lot of books at the same time like I do... I get some progress in a lot of them but don't finish them until one week or two or more... I hope I can finish 2 books by the end of the week-end (plus I have a longer week-end than usual so more reading time ! well also more Avatar-binge-watching time and gaming time...)

Yep, I know, this is so not going to happen. I just hope I can finish one or by some miracle two of the october things before the end of the month, so that this TBR will feel just a tiny bit less like Doomsday.

Again and... again xD I'm in a kind of reading slump because of Avatar and my mini-Nano. I just finished watching Avatar and it was so good, it's difficult to find something where I can immerse myself as much. And I'm also really immersing in my own story, so that's great but others are not as appealing to me ;p But obviously, that's wain't stopping me buying books xD I bought a few more today, some more middle gradde and stuff, hopefully those kind of adventures can hold my attention craving for fun adventures with great characters and awesome group dynamics !
Plus I got some volumes of Fairy Tail since, while it's not that good, the dynamics are not so bad, and I managed to read 3 of them yesterday.
And as for the BR... right now I don't know, still in the funky mood, but perhaps one in December :)

Aaahh I know Fairy Tail is not going to become my favorite series ever but right now it's not good but it works for me, so... (and manga series do frequently have crappy endings, don't they ?)Yep I will try and not buy more before the end of the month... And yes, three manga volumes on a day, I had my afternoon so no big deal really. Last year I could read something like 6 or 7 manga volumes in a day off :) they are easy to fly through ^^

I'm doing another readathon challenge for this week-end ! I will have to go and see Fantastic beats but since there is no more Lucifer to watch, I should be able to read more than last time ^^Here is what I want to read :
On the manga front :
- 3 volumes of Fairy Tail
- Les mémoires de Vanitas volume 4
On the novel front :
- read 100 pages of Dragon Rider
Challenge starting right now and finishing on tuesday night, since monday is my day off and I have the afternoon off on tuesday. I should be able to do it, and hopefully, read even more ! Let's hope so !
I'm going to join you on your readathon but only for Sunday and Monday - my aim to get current with everything Virginie and I are reading together and 6 chapters of Riyria.
@Elinor: Have you read Pandora Hearts, a manga by the same author as Les mémoires de Vanitas? It's AMAZING! Mind-blowing and the art is beautiful.(Bonus: it's finished so you can binge :p)

Not yet ! But I have the first volumes. I do plan on binge them since I've heard it can get confusing if you don't ^^ So I just need to buy them all before I start :) This mangaka knows how to draw for sure, Vanitas is so gorgeous too !
Yes, it's def a series to binge! There's so many plot twists and cliffhangers, you'll die of frustration and curiosity if you have to wait :pDo you buy all your mangas? (I'm mostly borrowing from the library)
I really am a collection personn, so I buy the majority of them, but some I do borrow.

It's only the middle of the read-a-thon ! And it's going ok for me :) So far I've read :- Im vol 8
- SOS Love vol 1
- plus another manga that was not on the list, Cheeky Love vol 2
- 30-ish pages of Dragon Rider (this is reaaallyyyy good)
- a few pages of City of Ashes
- a few pages of Ruin & Rising
- a few pages of Le noir est ma couleur 3 (this one reads quickly)
- a few pages The thief who pulled on trouble's braid
I was hoping to finish Le noir est ma couleur yesterday to be honest but this cinema going thing took me longer than I thought.
