I finished The Way Back by Abbie Williams, Shore Leave Cafe #8, and it was fascinating. Here’s my review.

I also finished Murder on Washington Square by Victoria Thompson, Gaslight Mystery #4, and loved this one. Here’s my review.

I finished listening to Edge of Darkness by Karen Rose, Romantic Suspense #20, and am sort of sad to be caught up in the series. Here’s my review.

I’m now reading The Assassin's Blade by Sarah J. Maas, Throne of Glass #.01 - #05, and listening to Let Me Lie by Clare Mackintosh.

Laura I haven't posted in awhile but I've caught up in the Dirty Deeds series with Hit the Spot (Dirty Deeds, #2) by J. Daniels 4 stars and Bad for You (Dirty Deeds, #3) by J. Daniels 5 stars the best of the series so far

Wild Man (Dream Man, #2) by Kristen Ashley 5 stars loving this series

Naked Edge (I-Team, #4) by Pamela Clare 3 stars Not as good as book 3. The mystery was blah.

I highly recommend Getaway Girl by Tessa Bailey 5 stars , absolutely loved it.

I also loved Runaway Groom (I Do, I Don't, #2) by Lauren Layne . I found it unique from her other books.

Meera | 138 comments I recently finished Stay with Me (Wait for You, #3) by J. Lynn (#3) which I really liked but I don't think I'll continue because the next one doesn't interest me. Also Obsidian (Lux, #1) by Jennifer L. Armentrout and I liked it but the YA characters were too immature for me to pick up the next one.

message 157: by Meera (new)

Meera | 138 comments I've been reading too fast through the Gaslight mystery series. I'm enjoying them too much to not pick up the next one! I've read Murder on Mulberry Bend (Gaslight Mystery, #5) by Victoria Thompson , Murder on Marble Row (Gaslight Mystery, #6) by Victoria Thompson Murder on Lenox Hill (Gaslight Mystery, #7) by Victoria Thompson and currently reading Murder in Little Italy (Gaslight Mystery, #8) by Victoria Thompson .

I paid attention to the discussions when I first started reading the series but then I started reading ahead and didn’t check back with the discussions. Maybe I’ll do better with Throne of Glass series when we get to book 4, which is where I had stopped.

I love that Kristen Ashley isn't afraid to get down and dirty and have characters behaving badly and having bad things happen to them. I hope the rest of her series are like this.
