Just finished reading
and
!The second book was even better than the first one!!
I just got the fourth book
from the library, but
had to be ordered through ILL. For those who have read and loved this series, do any of you think these books can be read out of order, or will reading An Inconvenient Beauty before An Uncommon Courtship spoil the story? I hate spoilers! But I know there was overlap between A Noble Masquerade and An Elegant Façade, so I figured I'd check. I'm impatient to start!!
Bonny, I've only read A Noble Masquerade and An Inconvenient Beauty from that series, but I didn't feel that there were any spoilers in An Inconvenient Beauty, Trent's wife appears a few times (but that's not a spoiler because her name is listed on the back cover copy of Trent's book) and I think there were a few mentions of and references to their "uncommon courtship" but they were very vague and didn't feel spoiler-ish to me at all. Someone who has read the entire series could probably speak to this better than I can, though! Hope this helps! 🙂
I decided to do a crazy thing and try to read a book per day this month...aw, well. I tried hard. I got close! I will probably finish two or three more by tomorrow.Edit: I made it!! Barely!

I've gotta learn how you all are adding book photos :-)I'm reading several different books at once.
Francine Rivers "Aaron" and Eating with Peter - A Gastronomic Journey by Suzanne Buckley.

Yes Hannah I'm very inspired ... Go you!!!
Jennifer wrote: "I've gotta learn how you all are adding book photos...Look to the right above the comment block and you should see “add book/author. Select that, put in the ISBN, ASIN, or book title and “search” for it, “add” the book, and choose cover at the bottom of the block.
Hannah wrote: "I decided to do a crazy thing and try to read a book per day this month...aw, well. I tried hard. I got close!..."I just finished my 31st book this month, thanks mostly to my being able to listen to 17 eaudios. I love the 2X playback speed on the RBdigital app! 😁
Hannah wrote: "Way to go, Alegna! Wonderful job!!"Thanks, and the same to you. Your read count was much more of an accomplishment, though🏆 ; my count would have been much lower without audiobooks. Plus, I’m home all day most every day, and I probably have a lot more free time than you do.

"You’re welcome. BTW, if you accidentally post the title instead of the cover, you can change it by editing your post if you’re in desktop view (probably not possible to edit in mobile view or app). Just type in “cover” after “book” in the brackets: [book:The Priest... to [bookcover:The Priest...
Read The Silent Fall by Samantha Horwitz. She is an ex-Secret Service agent who was a first responder on 9/11/01 at the World Trade Center. This is her story. I gave it 5 stars.
I don’t read much nonfiction but this biography was a quick read for me and my sister-in-law.
Hannah wrote: "You do...but audios take me much longer to listen to, so you get some credit there. :)"You read quite a bit faster than I do. I’ve quickly become used to 2X speed for most narrators. I may use 1.5X if the narrator speaks at a speed that’s faster than most or if s/he has a strong accent. Now 1X speed sounds so slow. It usually seems to me that 1.25X or 1.5X would be the normal speed.
So this month I finished
as well as two secular fantasies. I've also started
and
which will carry over into February.

I read 8 books this month, which I think it my best month of reading ever. Of the 8 only 2 were Christian Fiction.
-4 stars
- 3 starsthe rest were secular. Man that is not a very good ratio, I need to up that next month.
Andrea wrote: "Fantastic work, Angie!"Thanks, lets just hope next month I add more Christian Fiction to my list!! =)

What a great start to the year, Hannah!
January's round-up, which is a sad total number of books read in a month for me, but I was restless a lot, so I was watching more YouTube videos and other TV shows as well as hanging around on Facebook and Pinterest. I enjoyed myself during the month, but I know it's better for my mental health to read a bit more than this, so I'm working on getting into a better groove in February. At least, I read 3 novels by the featured author, 2 new authors, and hit a few other challenge categories as well with what I did read in January. :)
Wonderful job, Rachel! It's great to see you read so many of Author of the Month, Lynette Eason's books.
Rooms I just finished reading this book, and I loved it! I'm pretty new in this group, but wanted to share.
