Margo, I wouldn't have wanted to be in this one-each person had to present an essay on a writer and they met every 2 weeks! Way too much work for me.

I'm on my third adventure in London, trying to find a vicious killer with a vendetta. I'm also in San Francisco immersed in family dysfunction caused by domestic abuse.

I'm not sure where I am, but I think I'll be at least partly in Portland, Oregon. I'm not sure... I own a company there, but I just kidnapped a little girl, so it's probably not really safe to be there with her. I must be going somewhere else. What to do, what to do??

I've been on a dig in Egypt all day. We are done now and I'm heading back to Three Pines to see about catching a murderer.

I just finished with Kurt Wallander in Sweden. I'm on my way to Egypt in 1914 now.

Still in what used to be europe. No idea what's happening. I keep flitting between present day and recalling events from 4 years ago.

I am confused - Yoknapatawpha County, Mississippi or Victorian Wessex,England... both are new to me authors...so...wondering.. I am also near the deathbed of Copernicus..wondering to whom he'll pass the torch to..and sometimes I go to the Arab countries..

I finally solved the murder in Los Angeles and now have traveled to Korea and Japan, in the early 1900s. Still slowly reading with my Ohio book club ladies. I expect that I will be with them until September 9th.

I left Mississippi for good in the first hours of the day today, and I am coming back to Rio de Janeiro after a pause of a week.

I think I'm lost. I'm somewhere in Ancient Greece, on an island maybe, by the sea. I was feasting in the obsidian halls of Helios's palace, but I'm thinking that might be over now. We'll have to see.

Earlier today, I was with some "magicians" and a really strange circus. I was flitting around in place and time in the late 1800's and early 1900's from London to France to Massachusetts to New York. If air travel had been a thing back then, I would have been jet lagged. So I decided to put it away for a while.

I was wrong. I did go back to the palace briefly, and now I really am on a deserted island. One consolation is that I'm in a really cool house that cleans itself. I need that in the real world.

Janice, I was so intrigued by your first book that I had to go look at your shelves. I've added it to my TBR.

Also, I read your second book recently and loved it. I hope you're enjoying it, too.
