I've spent a lot of time looking of pictures of the celadon glazed Korean pottery that is the heart of the story:

Thanks for sharing the link. The pottery is beautiful.

And no, you were just all on Australian time. As it is now Monday.

Wow! It's beautiful.

Across the world, I'm in London investigating the suicide of a super model.

Ha! We're a little slow over here.

I am heading (back) to Minnesota now. There is a boy who disappeared with his father in the wilderness a decade ago and they are presumed dead. The boy is about to reappear without his father. I have no idea why or how, but it is my job to find out.

Goodness gracious, Sandra - I had to check out what you're reading!

I'm also in a fantasy Russian village where we've discovered strange prints in the snow around the house.

Hope you enjoy (which sounds odd), Heather.
Our farmers are having a really bad drought at the moment here (95% of the state of New South Wales is in drought), and I can't stop thinking about The Dry since reading it earlier this year.
But there was an article the other day with some photos looking at Australian farms in drought, which you may find interesting while reading it. Victoria is a bit different in landscape and vegetation to these parts of NSW, but again, just for interest http://www.abc.net.au/news/rural/2018...

Hope you enjoy (which sounds odd), Heather.
O..."
I will take a look! I lived in Victoria in a small farming community called St. Arnaud, 1998-99, as a student. I remember the heat and the dependence on rain!
On a happier note, sure wish I had a recipe for the delicious meat pies I remember!

As for pies... I just found this one https://www.sbs.com.au/food/recipes/a... It gives a chunky option, or a saucier option like you'd find at the footy. The picture looks pretty spot on (haven't tried this recipe, but SBS recipes are usually pretty good).

The news feed was so sad! It seems funny that in this day and age, with so many advances, we are all still at the mercy of mother nature.
I was a Rotary Club Exchange Student during my 11th year . Let me tell you that I was one surprised teenager to find so, so many differences in my daily living when I got there. Back then, some of the families I lived with still had outdoor plumbing! But I experienced school uniforms, sheep shearing, a very hot Christmas, fish-n-chips wrapped in newspaper, and the biggest @$!# spiders I have ever seen! And it was fun that the story included some of those very things! Oh and I remember the farmers shooting rabbits, a mouse plague and I even climbed Ayers Rock. What memories! And vegemite, really!! :)

I've got a super busy day ahead of me and likely I won't be travelling elsewhere with an audiobook.
