I finished The Coffin Path for the toppler and the Zodiac challenge. This was one of my most anticipated releases of 2018 but sadly, it didn't live up to expectations. It very nearly ended up with a 2 star rating, but the last 50 or so pages were very good and saved it somewhat so I gave it 3 stars.

Janice, what did you think of Suspect? I liked that one a lot more than I expected to.

I just finished Force of Nature. I thought it was great.

I'm going to continue with Miller's Valley tomorrow. I'm not sure what I'm reading next. I guess I'll work that out tomorrow.

I really enjoyed it, Kristie. I loved the dog, Maggie, and thought she was much smarter than the human. He was a bit impulsive and undisciplined. I kind of suspected right from the beginning (view spoiler)[that it was an inside job, and I thought the perps deserved a harsher punishment. Look at me talk the jargon! (hide spoiler)]

I'm really enjoying Four Fires. Bryce Courtenay is a wonderful writer - can't believe I didn't come across him before now!

This is the book set in the "out back" - see Rus - no hyphen! Sort of like the "down under" in stranger things - isn't it??
