What Are You Reading? - 2018
Setting aside Alice until the end of the Toppler.I'm starting World After on audiobook and I Shall Be Near to You on ebook for the toppler.
I put aside The German Girl and Other People's Houses for the toppler. I have started Wonder and am about to start Force of Nature.

When you get back to reading time travel again you should read Time and Time Again. Did I tell you that already? I don't remember.

Roz, I agree with You Time and Time Again was really good!
Finished Flowers for Algernon. Gut wrenchingly good. It went straight on to my favorites list.
I finished World After for the Toppler and am about to start the final book in the series, End of Days.
I finished The Coffin Path for the toppler and the Zodiac challenge. This was one of my most anticipated releases of 2018 but sadly, it didn't live up to expectations. It very nearly ended up with a 2 star rating, but the last 50 or so pages were very good and saved it somewhat so I gave it 3 stars.
The Valkyries are back in Valhalla and I have joined the The Girls of August on Tiger Island - hopefully for some fun in the sun, for my second toppler book.
I left the girls of August on the beach and I am back in Norway with Inspector Sejer at The Water's Edge, my third toppler book and a Zodiac challenge book. I just don't know which task I am going to use it for yet.

Ooh don't remind about Bill Brysons woeful self-narration 😱
I finished Suspect this evening, and will start Some Danger Involved tomorrow. I hope to finish it before the toppler ends.
lol, Margo!Janice, what did you think of Suspect? I liked that one a lot more than I expected to.
I just finished Force of Nature. I thought it was great.
I'm going to continue with Miller's Valley tomorrow. I'm not sure what I'm reading next. I guess I'll work that out tomorrow.
I really enjoyed it, Kristie. I loved the dog, Maggie, and thought she was much smarter than the human. He was a bit impulsive and undisciplined. I kind of suspected right from the beginning (view spoiler)

I'm guessing you don't recommend Bill Bryson as a narrator, Margo? 😉
I finished The Dumb House for the toppler and the Zodiac challenge. I'm now starting another toppler book, The Couple Next Door.

I certainly wouldn't recommend him to a friend Lisa lol
I just finished Stoner and that was wonderful!

I'm glad you enjoyed Stoner better.
Kristie wrote: "I just finished Force of Nature. I thought it was great..."I am so glad to hear! I am waiting my turn for a library copy.
Kristie wrote: "I think it might be even better than the first one, Cherie."Oh, I hope it is Kristie! Think I will have to buy it!!
Norway was cold and creepy and I've left Inspector Sejer at The Water's Edge. I am going to Australia to get warm! I'm starting Hero for the toppler, a Zodiac read, and selection on my Australia Writers challenge.
I finished The Couple Next Door for the toppler. Here is my review: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
Starting Iron Gold by Pierce Brown. Loved the original series that it's an addon to. Ya Sci-fi but done really well.
Post toppler, I'm back to Alice. I need to get it finished! I'll start Blood Song a bit later today after I've finished working.
I have an hour and a half to finish The Tao of Pooh for the toppler. Then, I'm back to The German Girl for the twin challenge.
Kiah wrote: "Im reading Shadowfever by Karen Marie Moning, loving it and hopefully finish it by the weekend haha"Welcome to the group, Kiah! Head on over to our Introductions thread (here: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...) and tell us a little about you :D
I'm really enjoying Four Fires. Bryce Courtenay is a wonderful writer - can't believe I didn't come across him before now! This is the book set in the "out back" - see Rus - no hyphen! Sort of like the "down under" in stranger things - isn't it??

I might have to go on a western binge after the toppler. I have had enough dystopia and time travel for a while.
