I just finished Thrill Cub. I think this is one of his more out there books. I thought (view spoiler)[ the whole story would be one someone was reading for the thrill club. I’m sure as a preteen/teen I would’ve just read this at surface value but now I see it could be the horrible, twisted way a guy is dealing with his father’s death. The girls could be explained away as mass hysteria? Maybe. (hide spoiler)] but I liked this one so I’ll say.... 3.5 or 4 stars?

I finished it too this morning. This was definitely another one of his 'out there' ideas, along with The Dead Lifeguard. I'm going to give it 3 stars, it's more than that but not quite a 4 star read.

Is this the only book of his with a POC on the cover? I can't think of another one at all.

I think that's a great idea. There's so many Stine-esque books from the 80s and 90s so there's a lot to choose from. (Christopher Pike, Richie Tanksersly Cusik, etc.) It'll be fun to branch out a bit.
