Hey Lusie, I'm back :)

Could I please have 3 picks from my shelf?

btw, I did end up rating An Unkindness of Magicians 5 stars because it was such an interesting concept of magic! It's dark and gritty and great ending though I couldn't find it in my heart to completely appreciate it ;p

message 58: by Lisette (new)

Lisette (illusie) | 3233 comments Welcome back Tien! Thanks. It does sound interesting. I'll mark An Unkindness of Magicians as to read soon.

The Salem Witch Society - because I love books about witches
Villain - this sounds very good
Oathbringer - just because ;)

lol, thanks, Lusie!

I'll pencil in Oathbringer for now but if I finish one of the other 2 before it, I might put that read for this property just so I can move on ;)

message 60: by Lisette (new)

Lisette (illusie) | 3233 comments You are welcome! Yes it can take a while to finish Oathbringer.

Have you already read The Great Alone? I'm currently reading it. The description of Alaska is beautiful.

I have just landed on "And the Mountains Echoed"
May I please have 3 picks:

My Bookopoly Shelf

Thanks!

message 68: by Lisette (new)

Lisette (illusie) | 3233 comments Sorry Sue, I didn't see your request! Thanks for sending me a message.

Here you go:
Wildwood Dancing - I love this author and still want to read this series.
Storm Front - I hear good things about this book and series.
The Ladies' Room - sounds like a nice easy read

message 69: by Sue (new)

Sue | 158 comments Thanks, Lusie!

Of those three, I think I am going to pick the nice easy read to plan on getting done in the short term future, so:

The Ladies' Room is my pick.

My Bookopoly Shelf

message 72: by Lisette (new)

Lisette (illusie) | 3233 comments Hi Stacie! Here are the books I've chosen for you:

Winnie-the-Pooh - because I love pooh-bear.
The Wall of Winnipeg and Me - loved this book! It's a slow burn romance. The best I have read in a long time.
Wintersong - because the cover is beautiful. If you end up reading this, please let me know what you think of it.

Thanks Lusie! I love Pooh, but at least 5 of my goodreads friends have recommended The Wall of Winnipeg and Me in the last month, so I'm going to go with that one.
