Thx Blagica!
I have finished 44 books and 14223 pages in january. I’m especially happy as this included a few classics who were on my TBR pile a long time.
Kristin wrote: "I'm interested in reading The Hazel Wood and Beartown. How'd you like them? And do you recommend any of the other books you've read? "Hazel Wood was good. Started off magical realism, but went a bit too Alice in Wonderland-esque, full of peculiarity and fairytale logic which doesn't do it for me, but may for others.
Beartown was great! Very much about getting swept up in the characters; I felt like I knew the whole town.
Final update, I made it! Actually ended up finishing my final book about 11pm on 31st Jan. Didn't think I was going to make it (wasn't trying to rush or pressure myself) so it was a lovely surprise to hit my goal!1. Ruin and Rising
2. Renegades
3. The Hazel Wood
4. Beartown
5. Nerve
6. The Scorch Trials
7. The Death Cure
8. The Dark Days Club
9. Paris Adrift
Total: 9/9
I said in message 47 that I wanted to read 2000 pages and I read 3085 pages, so I definitely met my goal! Yea!
That was a good month :-)1.
