Hide and Seek 235 pages 4* 1/12/18
All in all it was another great book by Lynette Eason. I liked both main characters and the basic plot very much. One (in my opionion extremely unrealistic) passage in chapter 19 and the second half of the epiloge spoiled it for me that much I felt I can rate this book only 4*.
I understand where's the author comming from and why it was written that way - still I wasn't very fond of it. I suppose though most of the Christian romance readers will see it different :-)

Either I got used to the author's style too much or the hints were obvious but I figured the 'perp' in chapter three. I'm glad I was still able to enjoy the book - especially because there were some (more or less convincing) red herings and I wanted to see if I was right or why all the other 'strong evidence' didn't change my mind at all.

Christmas Cover-Up 244 pages 3* 1/13/18 - 1/14/18
For the very first time I was dissapointed with a book by this author. The plot was rather average, the characters ok but after their introduction in the first book I expected somehow more and their development not my favorite as well. I didn't like the ending very much as well. And the issue I struggled most with it's the book with the most typos I read so far :-(

I liked pretty much I wasn't sure about the identity of the kidnapper until very late in the story. The hints were this time either pretty well hidden or delivered rather late. Around 50 per cent of the story I had two people I thought they could have something to do with it and the one I liked less was it in the end.

I suppose I'll read the third book in this series / book set sometime when I'm really in the mood for or it fits perfectly in one of my many challenges (preferably to complete one of the rather difficult tasks for me). Other than that I think it will take quite some time again until I'll be give another chance one of the Love Inspired Suspense books - they are not really my kind of favorite books.

Her Stolen Past 233 pages 4* 3/19/18-3/20/18
I liked this story a little bit more than the second one in series. The basic story line was still predictable with the few turns and twists along the way I didn't expect but I liked the characters very much.

All in all I liked the series that much I think I'll re-read it in future again.
