Fifteen minutes to go! I guess I should at least get dressed before I crack open my book, Fool Moon. But what am I thinking?? It's an audiobook. I can dress while I listen.

I had to frantically charge my kindle fire as it's the only device that I can read my book on through overdrive. Mobile is way to small and I don't like using my laptop for books. It would have been a tragedy if I hadn't realised in time!

It's a good day for reading here. Overcast with a good chance of thunderstorms this afternoon/evening. I will have to take a break to take dogs to vet for shots, and grab some tacos. Huge sigh, no chocolate this time. I've really cut back on sweets and it's helped my blood sugar a lot.

We're supposed to get the tail end of a hurricane which is called something beginning with B but I can't remember what. It's supposed to hit the UK in the early hours of the morning and we're on yellow alert for rain so it will be interesting to see what happens. Clear skies here, no rain or wind at the moment!
