Karen wrote: "Oh that new update is making me anxious. Only two of those books are mine!"Sorry, didn't mean to make you anxious. There are still 8 months of the year left - plenty of time for reading. Different people read at different speeds - I've only managed 3 towards my goal for this challenge.
This seems like it'd be pretty cool; I'd like to join in and do challenge 1 and 2; Sci-fi subgenres for the former and Wicca for the latter, since I think it's interesting and a good source of inspiration for prompts.I do have a question: once we read up ten on each, can we pick another challenge to do or is it static? For example, when I finish challenge 1 and 2, can I do challenge 5 afterward?

You can choose to read as many books as you like from any category and do as many categories as you like. Also, you can be as flexible as you like i.e you don't have to read all from one category before moving on to the next one. Hope this helps

I may missed you out when I was updating, sorry. Does your post mean you've completed some books? Can you confirm your total read please?
I'm down to join this. I think I've been doing #1 anyway a few times and will update this as I go.Task 1. Read books that are sub-genres of one particular genre
I'll plan to read 5 Sci Fi subgenres to start off with:
1)
2)
3)
4)
5)
Task 4. Read books that are translated from one particular language to your native tongue.
Mine is a slightly different take on this, as my native tongue is both Tamil and English, but I've basically spoken mostly English for most of my life, and can't really read fluently in Tamil. I just read one collection of short stories in translation from Tamil, so I'll tackle 5 more!
1) The Goat Thief by Perumal Murugan
2)
3)
4)
5)
