We had the same issue on Amazon, but they corrected it as soon as I brought it to their attention. To avoid confusing people who read both of us, can we also get that corrected here? Since you don't have a Goodreads Author profile yet (only a reader one), I moved your book to "Deborah^^Burnside" with 2 spaces between your first and last name. The spaces are only visible on the edit pages; they help to separate your profile from other authors with the same published name.

You can claim the Deborah Burnside author profile by submitting this request to join the Author Program. (That's the Is this you? Let us know link at the bottom of the author profile page.) After the staff has completed their review, they will upgrade your current reader profile to an author account and send you an email confirmation. This might take a few business days, depending on staff workload, so please be patient.

Once your claim is processed, you will be able to make certain changes to your books, including combining different editions of the same book. You'll then also have the ability to choose which edition will be the default—that is, the one that comes up in searches by title and shows on your author profile.

You can find more information on the Author Program here.

#52 Alexa I've moved it for you. You have the default Alexa Adams profile so all books by others of that name that are imported or added by members will go to your profile.

It is easy for librarians to move them, but if you want it to stop you need to contact support to change your profile. If you do get changed, please be aware that you might have the same problem but in reverse ie your books end up on the default profile & you need a librarian to add them to your profile.

Hello. I and my late grandfather co-authored a book called "Generation- Poetry Passed Down"- https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...

However, I noticed that my grandfather's author page- "Edward Caldwell"- has several books on it he did not write, including some with content he would have found objectionable. https://www.goodreads.com/author/list...

"Generations" is the only book he has actually written on the page. So if you could give him a separate, distinct author page featuring only that book, I'd really appreciate it. My grandfather was very passionate about being published, and publishing our poetry book was the last thing I was able to do for him. I want him to be represented accurately on this website. I know it would mean a lot to him.

I applied to become a librarian to fix this issue, but it's been several days and I've received no response for whatever reason. Someone helping me out here is my only hope.
