message 54: by Jeimy (new)

Jeimy (wanderingbookaneer) I'm reading Little & Lion. Little is trying to define her sexuality. She lies about her relationship with her roommate at boarding school and hides the fact that she has a crush on a girl because her brother Lion seems to have a crush on the same girl.

Jennifer Maloney (desertrose0601) I picked up a graphic novel for this one: Study Hall of Justice. It was very cute. Basically it's about young Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, and Diana Prince as they're trying to discover what secrets their shady school administrators are hiding.

message 60: by Cheri (new)

Cheri (jovali2) | 542 comments I ended up reading The Lost Book of Moses: The Quest for the World's Oldest Bible--and the Man Who Wrote It by Chanan Tigay. It's a true story, an archaeological mystery: had the documents Shapira found been falsified, and was someone hiding the truth about them?

message 67: by Stacey (new)

Stacey D. | 1908 comments For this one, I had no problem picking (and finding!) Jeffrey Toobin's American Heiress: The Wild Saga of the Kidnapping, Crimes and Trial of Patty Hearst. Only 15% in, and I'm really enjoying this crazy, notorious story -- about the 1974 kidnapping of the 19-year-old heiress by the underground SLA terrorist organization.

message 75: by Agata (new)

It's about a girl who tells all her secrets to a stranger on a plane ( there is a big turbulence and she thinks she'll die). Then it turns out that the stranger is her boss. Very funny and great for summertime.

Tracy (tracyisreading) | 2573 comments So far we've only completed the picture book version with Splat the Cat and the Big Secret. It was REALLY hard for Splat to keep the secret. IDK, we don't seem to be huge fans of Splat the cat.

As far as my adult version I have already changed my choice about 5 times and I think I've settled on One of Us Is Lying ( for now).
