It's such an amazing book, Lizzy! I think if you're liking it already, you're going to love it.

I just finished reading 99 Red Balloons for this prompt, and I really enjoyed it. I had so many options on my TBR for this one and it was hard to pick just one, but I'm glad I went with this one.
I'm reading Little & Lion. Little is trying to define her sexuality. She lies about her relationship with her roommate at boarding school and hides the fact that she has a crush on a girl because her brother Lion seems to have a crush on the same girl.
I picked up a graphic novel for this one: Study Hall of Justice. It was very cute. Basically it's about young Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent, and Diana Prince as they're trying to discover what secrets their shady school administrators are hiding.
I read The Secret Keeper by. Kate Morton. Wasn't keen on either of the two main characters, but the twist at the end made it worth the read"
I ended up reading The Lost Book of Moses: The Quest for the World's Oldest Bible--and the Man Who Wrote It by Chanan Tigay. It's a true story, an archaeological mystery: had the documents Shapira found been falsified, and was someone hiding the truth about them?
I picked All of It, The by Jeanette Haien. The secret is the center of the plot in this very short book, and I really enjoyed it.
I went with Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore , I think it fits, there's a big secret as to just what goes on in the bookstore and what it all means.
I read Saving Sophie by Ronald H. Balson. A very engaging storyline, you always knew there was more to what was going on than what was being said.
I read We Have Always Lived in the Castle. Yea there was definitely a few secrets and surprises in this book.
For this one, I had no problem picking (and finding!) Jeffrey Toobin's American Heiress: The Wild Saga of the Kidnapping, Crimes and Trial of Patty Hearst. Only 15% in, and I'm really enjoying this crazy, notorious story -- about the 1974 kidnapping of the 19-year-old heiress by the underground SLA terrorist organization.
I read The Secret Keeper and it definitely fit the prompt as the whole plot is a daughter trying to figure out the big secret in her mother's life.
The second book for this prompt was Loyalty in Death by J.D. Robb and it is about a secret society called Cassandra.
I read Mr. Penumbra's 24-Hour Bookstore by Robin Sloan. It features a mysterious bookstore which holds many secrets.
I read Can You Keep a Secret? It's chick lit but I think it was perfect for this challenge. It's about a girl who tells all her secrets to a stranger on a plane ( there is a big turbulence and she thinks she'll die). Then it turns out that the stranger is her boss. Very funny and great for summertime.
I just received an ARC of The Rain Watcher by Tatiana de Rosnay so I’m going to read it! I was struggling with a choice for this prompt and then this book conveniently appeared in my mailbox.
- What are you reading for this category? I read Little Fires Everywhere. It was pretty good and fit the prompt well.
- What are you reading for this category? I read The Girl with the Make-Believe Husband by Julia Quinn.
I went with Operation Child Soldier as I recently read another book by Jaci Wheeler and really enjoyed it. This one was just as good.
So far we've only completed the picture book version with Splat the Cat and the Big Secret. It was REALLY hard for Splat to keep the secret. IDK, we don't seem to be huge fans of Splat the cat.As far as my adult version I have already changed my choice about 5 times and I think I've settled on One of Us Is Lying ( for now).
For my 2nd time around, I read The Girl with the Red Balloon by Katherine Locke. The red balloons are secret as is the fact that Ellie is a Zeitreisende (time traveler) stuck behind the Wall in East Berlin in 1988. Fun read!
This morning I finished The Secret History of the World: As Laid Down by the Secret SocietiesHad renew from the library 3 times as the book was too big to carry on my commute!!
