Hi Gitte, another one of my friends who loved it. Be sure to email bailey@nightcircus.com like it says at the end of the book.

Angela (bookangel2) | 220 comments Finished The Woman in Black last week - a great ghost story!

message 862: by Jannene (new)

Jannene I just finished R is for Ricochet (Kinsey Millhone, #18) by Sue Grafton . I really enjoyed it. It had a slow start but the plot and development of the characters made up for it. You start liking Reba in the beginning but toward the end you grow to dislike her and then she surprises you.

message 863: by Curlyhair (new)

Curlyhair Well I've finally finsihed Breaking Dawn, but I didn't love it. I was a bit disappointed, after hoping it would be a great ending to the series.

message 864: by Jannene (new)

Jannene I just finished Vanish (Jane Rizzoli & Maura Isles, #5) by Tess Gerritsen . This was a good story with likable characters. It had a slow start and really took some time to get consumed in it. However, once it got going I didn't want to put the book down. The ending caught me by surprise.

Angela (bookangel2) | 220 comments I've just finished reading The Thread by Victoria Hislop by Victoria Hislop. It was an engrossing love story, set in Greece. It spanned the 1st and 2nd World Wars and also the Greek civil war, ending in the 21st century. It was an interesting look at greek history and its impact on the characters.

message 866: by Jannene (new)

Jannene I just finished A Perfect Evil by Alex Kava . It was a good story. It had characters that you really got to know. There were a few red herrings thrown out for the killer but you eventually knew who it was which is why this book doesn't get a higher rating from me. You really grew to love Maggie and wanted her nightmares to end but the ending leaves you wanting to read the next book to see what happens...

Jannene I finished The Killing Edge by Heather Graham last night. This book was great. Chloe was a character that women would want to be; strong, confident, and speaks her mind. She didn’t get scared easily or rattled which I admired. She just wasn’t one of those girls you had to coddle. The story was interesting and totally engulfed me. I was reading until 11:30 pm just to finish this book. I didn’t care for the detail in the intimacy between her and Luke. I think they could have left that out and it still would have made it a good book.

Shelli Finished 11/22/63 and it was very good!

Shelli I enjoyed Bloodlines.....

I've just got this from the library! Looking forward to reading it.

Jannene I just finished The Black Echo (Harry Bosch, #1) by Michael Connelly . This was a good read. I enjoyed how the story line went and how everything got tied in at the end. The characters were developed you really end up liking the main character, Harry Bosch. I never had anticipated the conclusion. I was taken by surprise. I will definitely read the next one.

message 878: by Shelli (new)

Shelli I really enjoyed The Art of Fielding.

message 879: by Linda (new)

Linda Boyd (boydlinda95gmailcom) I recently finished Live to Tell (Detective D.D. Warren, #4) by Lisa Gardner by Lisa Gardner. This one is the 4th book in her D.D.Warren series - this book was really good and I think my favorite DD book so far except for one thing... I really missed Bobby Dodge, he was her partner in the first 3 books and was missing in this one, he did make an appearance, but a very small one.

message 881: by Shelli (new)

Shelli If you like this kind of book....I found Dead I Well May Be
very good....lots of use of the F-word beware!

message 882: by Shane (new)

Shane (Shaneybobs) | 80 comments I'm not too worried about that. It's a word that occurs in most of my sentences. Book sounds interesting tho! Thanks

message 883: by Sarah (new)

Sarah (sarah23l) I just finished Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen. I love her books!

message 884: by Shelli (new)

Shelli I just finished Bitterblue....I didn't like it as much as Graceling...but I enjoy this world, so it was still a good read....I hope if the author continues the series she will make the books shorter and better like Graceling....this one spent a lot of time being confusing when it could have spent more time with the characters that make this series good.

message 885: by Shelli (new)

Shelli The End of the Affair....loved it!

message 886: by Angela (new)

Angela (bookangel2) | 220 comments Shelli wrote: "The End of the Affair....loved it!"

Have you read any other Graham Greene books Shelli? I read a lot of his when I was younger and enjoyed them a lot. Last year, I read Travels with My Aunt, which was very good. Quite a versatile writer!

Angela (bookangel2) | 220 comments Recently, I finished three very different books:
Matterhorn by Karl Marlantes , a novel about the Vietnam war - excellent!
At Home A Short History of Private Life by Bill Bryson - an interesting Bill Bryson read and
84, Charing Cross Road by Helene Hanff , which was an excellent short read.

message 892: by Jim (new)

Jim (jimmaclachlan) I just finished Forest Mage as an audio book. Not bad, but Hobb repeats things more than I'd like & the hero is an idiot. Still, interesting story & world. I'm going to listen to Renegade's Magic, the 3d of the Soldier's Son trilogy next.
