I currently have 100+ books on my shelves that are not or only partially read, so I have no idea how far I'll get.
I'm pledging 28 now, because my 2018 goal is 30 (starting in June) and I have already read 2 books that do not meet the criteria (bought them this year).

Really enjoyed Peace Like a River, 5 stars, and it has been on my shelf for many years. Now it will stay on my shelf as a favorite. So well-written and an engaging interesting story that would appeal to many readers. It is a modern-day western, a bit of a romance, a coming of age tale, and what I would call a true work of literature because of the authors lyrically structured language. I highly recommend.
