Just cleared another ebook - Seduced By The Heart Surgeon by Carol Marinelli. This is the danger of doing random word searches through the TBR pile. Oh well, at least it's off my TBR. Even for an erotic romance, this was poorly written. Story was entirely unbelievable as well. Not continuing the series and not worth reading. 2 stars

Just cleared another ebook - The Darkest Minds by Alexandra Bracken. Really good dystopian fiction! I enjoyed the careful unraveling of the story. And the characters and world were interesting and complex. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars

Really enjoyed Peace Like a River, 5 stars, and it has been on my shelf for many years. Now it will stay on my shelf as a favorite. So well-written and an engaging interesting story that would appeal to many readers. It is a modern-day western, a bit of a romance, a coming of age tale, and what I would call a true work of literature because of the authors lyrically structured language. I highly recommend.

Just completed another ebook - Brother’s Ruin by Emma Newman. This book was really slow to start, and I was frustrated at most of the characters. However, it picked up a lot at the end, so I am going to continue reading the series. Quick read. 3.5 stars

Just completed another physical book - The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks. This is a nicely written, surprising book! In the first six chapters, it seemed pretty standard, I thought I had it figured out, and that I had read something like it before. Then the script flipped, and the book kept surprising me after that. Well done! There were just a few minor plotpoints that didn't fit. Definitely worth reading! I received this book as a free giveaway in exchange for my honest review. 4.5 stars
