a favor - I know that many of you enjoy posting the covers of the books you have read or are reading. But it's difficult for those of us who are older and whose eyesight is not the best. Please type out the titles.

I began reading A Dangerous Place, the 11th book in the Maisie Dobbs series. But after 50 pages I decided to put this book down. I picked up Truths I Never Told You by Kelly Rimmer. And while it started out well, halfway through, it’s going downhill.
I am still reading Les Misérables by Victor Hugo. It has taken me all month. Hopefully, I'll finish this week.
I finished Truths I Never Told You by Kelly Rimmer and regret to tell you I gave this book two stars. Considering this book dealt with post partum depression, it went downhill to include some really bizarre events. This morning I began The 13th book in the Maisie Dobbs series written by Jacqueline Winspear. I haven’t had too much time to read since I was involved with other things today. Hope I get to read before bed.
I hope this doesn’t give me a whole new mantra, but for the second time this week, I llisted my most recent Maisie Dobbs book as a DNF.I’m not sure what’s happening, although I am sure that I will go back to these books at another time. So, I spent the better part of last evening trying to find a book to read. I finally settled down with The Glittering Hour by Ione Sky. Things going the way they are, I would hate to descend to my book doldrums. Hopefully this book will provide me with an awesome read.
The Glittering Hour wasn't doing it for me so I once again put this book down. I then decided to try and read a Daniel Silva book featuring his wonderful character Gabriel Allon, art restorer and Israeli spy. I was up to the 16th novel in this series but was told by some that the book was very political. And quite frankly I'm not in the mood since our tv is set to CNN 24/7. So in a rare act, since I read everything in order when there is an order, I picked up the 17th title, House of Spies, and got into this title immediately. It feels so good to get into a novel and look forward to reading it.
I am currently reading The Angel Tree by Lucinda Riley. I have read this author for sometime and she never fails to draw me in with good characters and equally good plot lines.
I am currently reading The Emerald Horizon by Jean Grainger. This is the sequel to her book, The Star and the Shamrock. I hope to enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed the first title.
I finished my books called Marrying The Northbridge Nanny by Victoria Pade and Once Upon a Thanksgiving by Holly Jacobs and Snowball by Gregory Bastianelli and Wish by Jake Smith and Cross Her Heart by Melinda Leigh and The Party by Robyn Harding
I am currently reading The Paris Hours by Alex George. This book takes place in Paris during one day which describes the intertwining stories of four different people interning stories of four different people.
I am currently reading The Secrets of the Castle Du Reve by Hannah Emery. The stories from 3 different time periods are explored in this book. So far it hooked me in and I only hope it continues.
I finished my last two books and now get to choose my next book. I didn’t really enjoy my last two books so I hope I choose a winner this time.
How to Be an Antiracist by Ibram X. KendiThe Fire Next Time by James Baldwin
Your Perfect Year by Charlotte Lucas
