Ugh I hope it all works out. I have been out of work since March, but the school system is still paying us so it hasn't been horrible. My husband was partially furloughed (working one on and one week off with no pay) but only missed two weeks before they were called back to full time. I still really rely on the library although I miss going to the physical library.

I'm sorry to hear that

R.J. Abell | 682 comments Yeah, I use to be the same way, but now I've grown so use to reading books on my phone that it's difficult for me to read a regular book. I usually do my heavy reading in bed at night and it's so much easier to read on your phone or ereader of choice. I have book lights but they seem so cumbersome now that I'm use to ebooks.

I ended up with Kindle Unlimited and that's been a big help on reading things. I just finished Menace and that was out of my normal comfort zone. So having the Kindle is a blessing. I check the daily deals to see if there is anything that I want to get and then if not just keep going.

That's a good idea. Are you all in any other groups? There are groups where authors will send out ARCs in hopes for reviews.

Melissa (moe84058) | 19 comments How would we filter groups to know if one does ARC?

I have been reading books that make me cringe but I couldn't stop reading it.

I moved in April and have been in a horrible book slump!!! The only thing I wanna read is Percy Jackson and yet I can’t find my book cause they’re all in boxes! I need to buy new bookshelves so I could put my stuff away!!!

Oh I hate that. Hopefully you are able to find bookcases soon and get your books out.

I have yet to get new bookshelves yet... but I did do a major unhaul. It’s hard to enjoy a new city during a pandemic! T.T

I bet that has to be frustrating and hard, you really can't get to experience things or meet people
