Read 5/5 waiting for next book in the series!
Just completed my 5th book by Sarah J. Maas - Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas. Overall, I liked this book. It was a good continuation of the story, and I liked some of the twists. However, what I've found with Maas' writing is that when she's in the midst of bringing her stories together deep in the series, she sometimes forgets to make connections between events. That can be frustrating for the reader. I hope the next book is a bit clearer during the action. Overall, definitely worth reading! 4 stars10/15
Just completed my 6th book by Sarah J. Maas - Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas. Really enjoyed this addition to the series. I might have been a tad annoyed if I had waited a year for the next book, as it doesn't quite pick up from the last book. But this book returned to the charm and wonder of the first book in this series. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars11/15

Love this idea. It also overlaps with Serial Reader, as I'm reading a few. series novels now by Robert Silverberg. I should be able to make it through the 5th easily this week, so I'll challenge myself to do a second 5-book challenge by a different author as well!7 by Robert Silverberg:
1) Valentine Pontifex
2) Majipoor Chronicles
3) The Mountains of Majipoor
4) Sorcerers of Majipoor
5) Lord Prestimion
6) The King of Dreams

Just completed another book by Sarah J. Maas - A Court of Frost and Starlight by Sarah J. Maas. A nice, short (at least in Maas' world of massive books) morsel in the story while we wait for the next full novel. Nice little teasers about where the different characters might go in the next installment. Definitely make sure you review a synopsis of the last book. 4 stars12/15
I have finished The Killing Season, the second of three books by Ralph Compton I said I would read.8/21
