I've finished chapter 1. I have a suspicion of who the guy in the mask may be. It's interesting all the foreshadowing in his storytelling, but it's all written in present tense. Makes me feel more there as a reader.

Started listening to the audio version earlier this week. Not a science fiction buff but I am getting drawn into the story. Once again the book selection is stretching me outside my usual comfort zone!

Just started reading this one and already can't put it down. I feel like this is going to be a very fast read!

I have quick access to either the audio book, Kindle book or hard copy.

My problem: I'm doing to many household tasks, responding to emails, watching Netflix series, writing Christmas cards, etc.

I need a "push" from my fellow readers to just just START THE BOOK. I love scifi/fantasy so I have no excluse.

Just downloaded the ebook, I have to say I'm a little underwhelmed for the male POV but the plot line from the description has intrigued me. I'm excited to try something outside of my wheelhouse!

I guessed it in chapter 1 too... maybe too much foreshadowing?

It was obvious to me who the kidnapper in chapter one was right away. To be honest, I kind of thought we were supposed to figure out who the kidnapper was because it was so obvious considering the book's summary. I don't really think it was supposed to be much of a surprise? But if you went into it without the summary in mind then it could be quite surprising, which is just an added bonus.

Just started it! I’m on page 19 and purposely didn’t refresh my memory on what this books is about by reading the summary again, since it’s been awhile and I like surprises in books. Y’all have me curious about this kidnapper now! So far I’m into it!

Surprises in books are the best! I am loving this book so far. It's been keeping me on the edge of my seat. I'm in the last quarter of the book now and it's blowing my mind!

I got the audio book for this one because that is what my electronic library had available and I listen to audio books during my daily commute. Starting to think that was a bad choice since everyone is talking about what a page turner this book is. I have a feeling people are going to start looking at me strangely when I am just sitting out in my car :)

I’m loving this book! I couldn’t take it, I read the summary again, and I still have no clue who the kidnapper is at all. Not sure how some of you figured it out so quickly! Here I go, back to reading...

I'm starting this book without knowing what it's even about, lawl. Most of reviewers have done a good job expressing they like/love the book without revealing much so I'm convinced and curious to read it without further checking. I'd like to have surprises.

Really interesting read so far! I’m about 6 chapters in and I have a fairly sci-fiesque guess as to who the masked man is but it definitely took me a few chapters and I’m not even all that confident in it. Kudos to those you got it right off the back. It’s taking everything in me not to spoil the book and just look it up 😆

I'm new to the group and starting with this read. It had been on my TBR for awhile and it's taken me a month on hold to have it finally come up yesterday. I've just barely started and loving that it takes place in Chicago with streets and places I'm familiar with.

I’m about two thirds of the way through and I think the author just lost me with the hand wave-y science, but I’m almost done so I’ll keep going. Up until now it’s been pretty good.

I realized over the weekend Blake Crouch is also one of the writers for Good Behavior, which is a show I find very addicting. I recommend it if you like the book!
