This is the shelf I chose! There are only eleven books on these shelves that I still have to read and I will probably read a couple of books before starting, but I think it's nice to be ambitious!

This book describes a future that's actually happening now, it's extremely relevant to technology today and a great thought provoking read!
@Anne A very squashed shelf, but that is okay! :D
@Zech :) Glad you liked it!
@Bridgett I HEAR YOU! I am aching to read...just been so busy.

This story was nice in the sense that it was an easy read, but never got boring. It was original, had an inkling romance, but also fantasy and action. It is about a girl who is from an abusive, home whose parents are alcoholics. She gets a scholarship to a boarding school but the money has run out and she has to come up with the money for it.
In this story, Demons have made themselves known. They trade wishes for limbs. She stumbled upon one demon, but didnt want anything. Demons cant be seen unless you are desperate and are look for a bargain. When the scholarship ran out and she went home to see if her parents could pay, after the fight that ensued, she ran to look for the demon she had seen and made a deal with him. She asked for money, she got a lot of money, amount unknown. This demon did not trade in limbs, he wanted hearts. So he takes her heart, gives her a magic knitted heart that if it unravels she will die. She is basically in stasis, and it is a 2 year contract. He does this because there are voids popping up with monsters trying to get out and destroy the world. You cannot be living and enter the void. So this demon builds troops around the world to destroy these voids.
That is all I am going to tell you, there is a lot of story, and a lot of nail biting, some crying, and overall I enjoyed this story. I recommend it

Much better and more thought provoking now that I'm not thirteen! I understand a lot of the concepts and the mind bendiness of it.

Better When He's Bad is the first in The Point series. It follows Bax and Dovie. Each chapter switches to either one of their pov's. I felt this book was much darker than The Marked Men series, which some books had some dark stuff in it. Bax is a very bad guy, and it is very obvious. There were times I felt uncomfortable, because I wasn't sure where it was going with exactly how rough Bax could be, especially with how rough he tried to portray to Dovie he was. Dovie saw the good in him, and he begins seeing it also and as a reader, I start to like him more. He is still a bad guy in the end, but definitely a good bad guy. If that makes sense.

This book has a lot of heart but is missing something I can't really place, like an oomph somewhere. Some of the character interactions definitely made me laugh though!

Better When He's Bad i..."
Ahhh I love the Marked men series, I can't tell you how many times I revisited that series :). im currently working my way through the Saints of Denver
But this series is also on my list

This leads them on to a wild ride from being robbed by highwaymen, captured by pirates, nearly sunk on an island near Venice. It was overall an okay book. I will probably give it 4 stars, but more closely it is 3.5. I will read the next book, which is about Felicity and her desire to become a surgeon, which is unheard of because she is a female.

This series is one huge fast paced rollercoaster of action! I love the new characters introduced into this one!

The picture of the gates is so well done, especially the Ninth gate. This series is amazing!

This is like a Robert Jordan book, 75% detailed character developing buildup and the last 25% where shit hits the fan non-stop. Great read!

I love everything about this book and can't wait to continue the series! Sanderson is awesome!
One book left in my pile!

Finally finished this long overdue library book...
"The Two Sides of Love."
I was shocked to see that I started it in December.
December!

I recommend it for a quick, easy read - anybody with even a shred of self awareness can appreciate it - youngsters might not.
