message 943: by Amy (new)

Amy Ingalls | 3796 comments Updated post 938. The 10 PM Question This book grabbed me and pulled me in. The main character, Frankie, was charming. He made me laugh and cry, and he author did a great job of maintaining an authentic voice for his character. It really felt like a 12-year old boy throughout. I also liked how they handled the issues of mental illness and different types of families. As a middle school teacher, I would definitely read this with my class.

Megan (lahairoi) | 7470 comments Just completed #39 (library) - Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas. Really enjoyed this addition to the series. I might have been a tad annoyed if I had waited a year for the next book, as it doesn't quite pick up from the last book. But this book returned to the charm and wonder of the first book in this series. Definitely worth reading! 4.5 stars
