I debated between 4 and 5 stars, but ended up giving it a 5 star. The characters were great and there were several twists and turns that surprised me. I also liked that I learned a little bit about Middle Eastern myth/folklore which is also fun. It's 500+ pages, but they went fast. I now have to wait patiently for the second book to be released.

My sister-in-law and her family just purchased land on the Key Peninsula in Washington State and we just got back (literally last night) from spending a week with the family. While we were there we went on a tour of the Peninsula and she showed me where a famous little anarchist colony had settled in the early 20th century. She happened to have a book about the colony and I read it on our flight home. Very interesting the role that this colony played in several pivotal points in American history.
