It's easy to get confused.
Each zodiac sign is split into 7 categories, month, symbol, element, North American Indian zodiac sign, stone, superhero, and actor.
From each sign, pick one category and it's corresponding task. You could read the month task for Aries, the stone task for Gemini, the actor task for Libra, and so on.

Pretty sure that is the default example :D I think you would be okay

Well, let me tell you having finished just a couple of days ago The Witches: Salem, 1692 I am very sensitive to that kind of vocabulary right now. :)

No. The word "March" must be a standalone word and not part of a compound word.

What did you think of the book, Sandra?

And also: would fit the Lord Ruler in a MC over 60?

This is what it says in the book information page:
Original Title Mistborn : The Final Empire
I have not read Sanderson's books yet, so I cannot answer the character information. Maybe Sarah or Janice can.

And also: would fit the Lord Ruler in a MC ..."
Thanks, Cherie!
But exactly that was my confusion: In some editions the title is Mitsborn, and in others is The Final Empire, but in all says: Original Title Mistborn: The Final Empire

As for the Lord Ruler's age, I'm at a loss. I haven't read the book to verify it.

I understand that it is your call, Janice, but your criteria says "read a book with more than one title". If the GR book info gives an original title indication, shouldn't that be sufficient for the task? If not, how do we know if a book has another title? (I didn't even know where to look for books with alternate titles until I stumbled upon a Listophia catagory for this very thing and began looking at the books).

I thought that would be the case but wanted to double check just in case. Thanks Janice :-)

It is I'm sorry Janice. I own a physical book, the first in the Mistborn trilogy (it's a box set) by Brandon Sanderson, titled Mistborn. If you click on the editions of that book, you can see it's also sold as The Fallen Empire (with a different isbn). It counts :)
I can take a photo if I am being unclear. Been a long day.

LOL. THAT would be a blast. The justifying of the law, explaining the YLTO criteria to the Parliament....

LOL

Rusalka to the rescue!

In the bookshop I immediately noticed the profile of a face on the cover, even though it's a bit abstract. But when I looked up the book and the cover online, I started wondering if it's not a leaf that happens to have the shape of a face. And now I'd like a ruling. Or opinions :)

If you hadn't pointed it out, I might never have noticed. I had to enlarge the cover. I think it a stylized rendering of a woman's profile in the leaf. As you say, it's a bit more abstract, but it clearly looks like a woman's face. So I will accept it.

It is definitely a face

I agree Sandra!

Still a good cover - I love the sky - but I think I prefer your cover.

Australia is home to some of the world’s most deadliest snakes. Read a book where the majority of it is set in Australia, or written by an Australian author.
Can't think of any other task my cover meets.

I guess your cover could work for the cloud task too?

I am finding the months and movie stars are the hardest. If you choose the murder by month series you are set. However, I didn’t want to start a new series and I challenged myself to read a lot of my physical books.

I did not realize that she was an Australian author either.
I joined the Aussie Reader's 2018 Aussie Author's challenge and I had to gopher for women authors and I do not think her name came up.

I'm only half joking. We took a boat tour in Tobago when were were there last year for a day. There were 10 of us on the boat. 6 of us were Australians. I have never met anyone else who had been to Tobago, some don't even know it existed, and there were 4 other sneaky Aussies (I can't claim I didn't know Lexx would be there).

Makes complete sense, I would have too. It was only luck that I rearranged that bookshelf the other day and noticed for the first time we owned the trilogy.

Yes, hence my doubts, but thanks, Rusalka, you saved me a search

Burial Rites would work for a profile cover too.

I just read Stay Close by Harlan Coben without knowing where I would put it, and it turns out it takes place over only a few days in February. I think I may end up discovering month books as I go. I am realizing that crime novels may be good for this, since they sometimes wrap up quickly.

You for alternative title. I always referred to it as mistborn at first. As for Lord Ruler, whilst old, he isn't a main character I wouldn't have thought - he isn't in it all that much.

She was a PhD student in creative writing in Adelaide when she wrote Burial Rites. Overachiever.

I agree with Sarah, I don't think he was an MC in the book. Vin and Kelsier for example yes, the Lord Ruler no.
