create new series

I need to create a new series called "A Constable Inspector Lunaria Adventure" for this title:

Clicking on the "add new series" in the edit details page for the book takes me to the Goodreads homepage. Since this is the first book in the series, there is no series already created for it, so searching for it finds nothing. Please let me know how I can get the series (as well as characters and settings) edited. This is something I should be able to do, as the author and part of the group, correct? If not, why not? As I know all the required details for the title.

Authors can't create or edit series, see message 6: https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/.... Being a member of the Librarian Group doesn't give you GR Librarian status.

For characters and settings, you can make a request in the Librarians Group, as that option is also not available to authors.
