No one open!!!
Finally, Zaynah is sitting, panting on the bridge.
i think i'm in shock...i just sit there. i pull the hem of my trousers and a hand print is burned into my skin around my ankle. i just sit there oanting. i crawl to the end of the bridge and hear them following me. i sit on the edge dangerously =. my mind is empty...
I hoist Zaynah onto my shoulders. "We got to keep moving, this bridge isn't going to last." I run as fast as I can to the end of the bridge. When I reach the other side I put Zaynah into a sitting position."Zaynah, look at me. Look at me." I lock her eyes. "You're alright. OK? I'm here. I'm not going anywhere, I'm going to stay right here. OK? Now take a deep breath. Hold. Hold. And let go. Let's try that again. Deep breath."
i breath in and out in and out. i shake my head and my daze drops. i enhale sharply and exhale sharper. i stand up and lace up my boots tighter. i grab my bow and quiver..."hell no..." i say "c'mon...lets go"
"You sure that you're up to it?" When she nods I shrug. "OK. Let's go get Daniel."
"lets go" we enter the mouth of the cave and hear voices...faint voices in the distance. boys and a lady i think....i rememebr maes dream
"Don't. Move." I whisper. I step back and press my body against the cave wall. I creep forward getting ready to peek in.
i ignored mae., i crept behind her. maja nd ruby stood gaurd. i followed her in intot the darknes...excpet it wasnt dark. a small fire was lit in the centre of the cave. 5 boys were circling the fire. a lady sat there. older looking learing
"What should we do?" I mouthed to Zaynah, trying not to make a sound.
"No no no!" I mouth back but she was already off. "Zaynah!" I whisper after her, but then the boys and the woman started turning in our direction.
"Christmas must've come early..." I mouth to Mae as I follow Zaynah. Zaynah has crept behind one of the crates that is standing there, and I get her attention Don't move.
my bow is camouflaged by the darkness my blade is stuck to my palm. one of the boys break ranks and walk towards me. "come" he say to me but his eyes seem to shout at me to turn and leave... i have her wrapped around my finger the words coe back to me and my hand tightens on my quiver shlave
((Oh, we're fighting? OK))I draw my twin blades. "OK, which one of you is linked to me? Because you guys really pissed me off when you killed my sister." I can hear Mae and Zaynah's shocked reaction, and feel Ruby's understanding.
"That would be me, dear sister" I look around at the blond hair of who I had always assumed was..
"Adam?" I say, not even trying to hide my surprise.
"Ha ha ha! As if I was mere mortal. Your Adam never existed, Madailéin." I clearly didn't hide the fear in my eyes. How did he... "How did I know your real name? I saw your birth-certificate. Debby should really keep that stuff locked away more securely. Little Madailéin Aldith Iúile Halloran. Probably don't like the fact that you're Irish."
"I'm not. I was born here. I will die here. And I will take you with me." I say as I advance on him.
(Aw man! I just had this huge thing typed up and I deleted it! Crud! Well... I'll tell you the gist. I'm all like, "Guys, don't fight! Its not the right time!" Then snake lady appears and scared me. I turn and she says, "Let them fight, child." I'm all like, "Why? You want to see your siblings cut to pieces?" and she is all like, "No. Its easier to kill them now and get them out of the way. " I'm say, "What about me?" then she says, "I have plans for you. For now, you shall leave." and she flicks her finger. "Oh, no. I'm not going any-" I stop when I see the rattlesnakes slithering towards me. I draw my dagger and try to shoo them off. The lady cackles and nods her head. The snakes attack, and I cut 3 of them in half. The other two zip behind me, and start driving me towards the exit. Thats pretty much it. Sorry I didn't just re-write it, I had already done that 2 times, and I'm just like, "OH FORGET IT!" and then I wrote this. XD)

he was on top of me...his beautiful eyes piercing my skin. he bared his teeth and lowered his mouth to my neck. i scremaed and with great force tugged him off me. i grabbed for the remaing amounts of my venom remedy and slapshes onto his chest. he screamed a piercing scream and dissolved into golden silver goo. i looked around...3 of the boys id shot lay dead on the floor, maj was standin over hers, ruby and ame standing over their

"That was... scary. Yet easy. A little too easy. They are gonna become zombies and want revenge or something in a matter of seconds. So... we should leave. Unless anyone wants their brains eaten." I say, starting to walk towards the exit.
"Me neither. These babies are too precious." I start petting my head, smiling.
ii luah at mae then walk the opposte way..umm.we just came in here from a cliff edge...lets go to the other entrance
I nod my head and start walking towards the other entrance. "Why is it that every corner we turn there is something that wants us killed? Or smashed? Or full of venom? Seriously, this is getting ridiculous."
"no kidding...i mean i want to face somethign i can fight with my bare hands."
"I want to face something that I can just blow on and it dies. Is that so wrong to ask?"
"eh...mae dont be a baby...be fierce"
"Why can't I be a fierce baby?" I giggle. I notice we have been walking for a while, and the entrance did seem any closer than it did a few minutes ago. "Hey... guys? Do you notice that the entrance only seems... farther?"
"ummmm.yeah. what the..itry to walk back tot he exit but something stops me...like a barrier or forcefield. "ooowwww"
"Ok, stop walking." they do. We all start sliding backwards, as I thought. "Its a treadmill like contraption. Use to slow us down from going that way. To get off, we need to figure out where it is." I say, starting to sprint forward. After a foot or two, I trip over something invisible and fall down. "Found the edge." I groan as I get up.
i laugh at mae's clumsiness but help her up. she scowls at me..."what" i say "not my fault your a cluts" "thats coming from the girl who seems to have a death wish" i open my mouth to retort but ruby says "oh shut up the both of you" "yes mum" i say mockingly.
i jump off the edge and turn around and walk backt o where i'd bumbed. i put my hand out out but it was clear. "lets go" i say
"No! That entrance doesn't exist. Its an illusion to keep us going on forever. It looks like we have entered a maze zone. Like the Labyrinth, except its illusions right in your face. Strange. But we need to go another way."
"mae! are you sure?"
"Yeah. I've read many many many things about getting lost, mazes, and illusions. Heck, once I made a maze illusion and got people lost once. They wanted to cut down the forest, so I lead them on a wild goose chase."
i burst into as fit of giggling just imagining mae as the trickster dancing around leading people into trouble...mischievous like Rumpelstiltskin. ruby looks at me wierd. "what...its funny" i say. mae scowls and i shut up. "well you should be familiar on getting out of these mazez...c'mon...look into my eyes...illude us!"
"well...joke much..." i murmur.. "so what to do"
"Well... if I am correct, this isn't a cliff at all. That is." I say, pointing to the floor a few feet in front of us. I get on my hands and knees and slide my hand from the floor to over the cliff. I can still feel the floor even though it appears to be thin air. I smile to myself and I snap my fingers several times over the so-called edge. I image shimmers and a floor appears. "Sloppy. Very sloppy. Sloppy ones are sensitive to sound!"
"welll then..sloppy is my new fav word i say following the path the floor creates
I grin and follow Zaynah and Mae. "Sooo is anyone hungry? Or is it just me-?"
"Alright!" I twirled my fingers and a sandwich appeared on a plate in front of me along with my favorite soda, Zevia. (pronounced Stee-vee-aa)
"No thanks, I'm good." I keep walking. I stop and turn to Ruby. "Ruby, is there any possible way that you doing magic could... I don't know... give off our position to what ever lurks in this maze?"
I stopped in my tracks. "Oh." I said, guiltily.(In the background Zaynah was munching on her own sandwich)
I stop midway taking a bite of my sandwich. "You mean that this delicious thing is a neon sign that says Come and kill us?"
"Yep. So, I advise you drop that, and start running. Quickly, because they should be here in about... uh... judging by their foot steps... 1 minute and 46 seconds. So, now is a good time to run."
I drained my soda can and with a wave of my hand it all disappeared. We began running for our lives, the thundering of the army of monsters getting louder.
"Faster!" I shouted, pulling Maj and Mae along, Zaynah was already ahead.
"I don't think we can out run them. There is 2 choices. We could either miss lead them, using the maze to our advantage, or, we could stand and fight. Which one?" I puffed as we sprinted.
"Mislead...better...chance...of surviving." I puffed in return.

I grab hold of Zaynah's other wrist and hoist her up. Ruby and Mae grab hold of her arms and hoist her up even further..
