Hi guys,

The time has finally come to announce the guidelines for the 2017 Christmas Readathon.

This year's challenges are:
1) Read a white book
2) Read a book you have bought someone as a Christmas present in the past
3) Read a book you have started to read then stopped within 2017
4) Read a book that you can make the word CHRISTMAS out of the title (can use the author's name if you can't out of the title)
5) Read a book that has stars on the cover
6) Read a Christmas romance
7) Read a book you have been putting off to read for the entire year
8) Read an unread 2017 release
9) Read an angel book
10) Read a book with a number between 1 to 12 in its title (for example Ready Player One)
11) Read a book that's been on your TBR since last Christmas
12) Read an extravagant/sparkly/beautiful/decorative book that is unread

If you are new to this group just know the rules are very simple. Now that the guidelines are up all you have to do is create a TBR for December of books that match 1 or more challenges. For example, you can have a book that matches challenges 1,2, and 4. By allowing this, that means your TBR for December will be lower than 12 books for December. If you know you can read 12 books in December then you can do that as well. The main idea is to complete all 12 challenges between 1st Dec 00:01 till 30th Dec 23:59 in your time zone.

We are doing something new and exciting for this years one. For this one we will be introducing the usage of a #hashtag handle on Twitter and Instagram. By using this we can post updates about our TBR's or reading experiences while doing this readathon. The chosen #hashtag will be given a week before December so make sure your updates for this groups is on to know more.

We all hope you guys enjoy this readathon and share the news for this years readathon with friends on Goodreads.

Will post in the next few days for more updates.

Are you guys liking this years challenge? Comment below and let me know.

Just complete as many challenges as you can. You can double up books for multiple challenges, so you have less books but can complete more challenges.

As long as you have fun and enjoy while doing the readathon, then you can do it
