What to Read After Drive

Thank you, Grey! I kept asking Maryse about this list, and I was concentrating on Robin's book for a couple of days and I almost missed her post!! This is my absolute FAVE type of book, so I'm going to shelve all of the ones I don't already have.I'd like to add:
The Something in the Way trio by Jessica Hawkins
A Love Letter to Whiskey
Both of these were about love that was lost and found over the years through miscommunications and missed opportunities. Both have major angst!
Yasss!!! I love angst! haha! I'm trying to catch up on some stuff here, and I have a little proofing stuff to do, and then I'm getting to it ;) Is there anyone that hasn't read Drive yet?
Or the Something In The Way series? That's on my short list too.

I haven't read Something in the Way. I will eventually buy it, but I'm not really a fan of lost love found, so it'll take me a few to read it.
Tessa, just to be clear, it's not so much that they lose physical touch, but 'something gets in the way' (hardy har har 😂😂😂). When I read the title (and read the first half of the book), I had in my mind "Something in the Way She Moves" by the Beatles, so I thought the title was about that, really general, But! It's actually about something being in the way of the hero and heroine's relationship/happiness.
There is some losing physical touch at some points because it spans about 10 years but that's not the focal point.
I also misinterpreted A Love Letter to Whiskey. I thought it was going to be about a character who had a drinking problem and/or was trying to get sober, and I almost didn't read it because at that time, I wasn't interested in something like that. But! It had ZERO to do with whiskey or even drinking!
OK, so how many of you people have not read Arsen???I need to read it again, and I hope that it will stand the test of time for me and not be one of 'those' books where I wonder 'huh?'.
I'm petrified of Arsen. And the sample I had was NOT encouraging. Renee, I swear, I'm just odd like that. Look what it took for me to read Drive. How many of you all said I'd like it, and it was a KU! I was still resistant.
omg Tessa, really? Arsen... shit... one of the best books I've ever read. although it wrecked me, I was in a massive book hangover for weeks.
Tessa--well then I'm so happy that you enjoyed Drive! There are certain things in Arsen that will make some not want to read it, the main one being (view spoiler). But it's majorly angsty if you love angst.
I have to admit that I'm having trouble remembering all of it, so I'd love to read it again, but I'm almost afraid to because of the 'loved it 5 years ago' curse! lol I'm SO much more picky now, especially about bad editing and shallow writing.
I know about the spoiler. That was in the sample or at least hinted it was going to happen mixed with the blurb. I just found that I couldn't like the h as a result. I knew I wouldn't. Her reasoning in the sample alone made me want to slap her multiple times.I'll try Something in the Way though. All this love for it must mean something. (Though, I won't hate her, right?)

I love angsty (non-death, non-depressing) triangles/cheating storylines, but I did not love Arsen. ☹

This post was 'driven' *giggle* (sorry, I couldn't help myself,) by Kooloo asking me if I would start a post and post her link to her shelf and Maryse's page that she made of Kate Stewart's book, Drive.
Kind of apropos, because I just started this one myself!
Here is Kooloo's link...
