Clare (clarebears) | 64 comments I listen to a lot of audiobooks, more than I appreciate actually. For 2018 I want to listen to 60 books from my TBR list. Good luck everyone and a early happy new year for 2018 🎄🎄🎄📪🍞🎅🎅🎅

Hilary (A Wytch's Book Review) (knyttwytch) oooh that should be fun!

November Ryan Good luck!! I'm a huge fan of audiobooks. I get it from my dad, who reads, like, a hundred 30+ hour long books a year. He's dyslexic and English is his third language so it used to take him all year to read two books but then he got an Audible membership and now he speeds through them faster than I do! I wanna get through at least a dozen of my audiobooks next year because I have waaaay too many.

Clare (clarebears) | 64 comments Thanks Rye, I like audio books and real books. Like your Dad I speed through more audio books then written books. I would set a TBR for written books too but I get my books from Netgalley so they are brand new releases. What is your challenge for next year?

E (ewillse) | 41 comments Audiobooks are real books. Consuming an audiobook is reading a story. Audiobooks are real books. Audiobook lovers are readers.
Totally counts for Mount TBR!
No apologies needed

Clare (clarebears) | 64 comments Thank you. Sometimes I feel like I am cheating including audiobooks in my reading challenge. Happy listening!

Totally agreed! I always wanted to try audiobooks, because it will increase my reading time and I think will help me get through more difficult, chunky books that I struggle to read. But I'm also afraid that I'll space out doing other things while listening and will miss something. I might try with easier, smaller books first. Maybe this will be one of my goals this year, listen to an audiobook!

Clare (clarebears) | 64 comments I love audiobooks, they have definitely been a lifesaver for me. I mostly listen to a book on my way to and from work. I also listen when there is nothing on television. If you subscribe to Audible your first book is free, that would be a good way to dip your toe in the water.
