re 944, i see that you've since modified this record, so i'm assuming you no longer want it deleted? i removed the ASIN, as only kindle editions have ASINs on Goodreads (even though Amazon will use them on physical books sometimes)

re 945, it turns out that was actually originally a BookRags study guide that was erroneously edited to become the actual book. i have reverted many of the changes, but the original kindle edition has been added to Goodreads since these edits. now it's a duplicate. but before I merge it, i noticed that all four reviews were for the book, not the study guide. would it be better to merge it with the actual book after all?

Well, there used to be other two works with those titles, representing short stories/scenes that were published online (The Assassin and the Princess in 12 parts and The Assassin and the Captain in 4 parts in different blogs). I didn't request their deletion because I thought they were borderline between extra scene and short story, but I guess if someone deleted them and decided that they were indeed not appropriate then the new works that have been added should be deleted as well? I just haven't seen any discussion about it and I haven't seen them merged into Throne of Glass or Crown of Midnight...

Okay. Maybe it could just be combined with the other editions but not the primary edition? That edition should be--my preference, at least--the one I wrote, published first in 1989, with just one name listed. I appreciate your help with this.

Now I am not quite sure how it works with merging instead of deleting so I have a question.

#958 - No merge. That is the Smashwords ebooks edition, as shown in the edit history. Updated with relevant data.
#959 - Merged with main paperback edition of the full anthology.

Single stories from anthologies get merged into the main edition of the anthology, or the nearest relevant anthology edition. Change the author to match the editor or primary for the main 'stack' then combine with those then post for us to do the merge :)

975: It is pretty common for an ebook to have multiple ISBNs, due to different formats or distribution outlets. And we got the data from Ingram, which means you (the publisher) supplied it to them.

I combined it with the other edition, but it doesn't appear to need deletion.
