I highly reccoment City of Dark Magic By Magnus Flyte (AKA Meg Howrey and Christina Lynch). Its a magical realism/historical fiction set in prauge. Amazing and authentic novel. It also works for the promt for a woman writing under a male pseudonym.

I read Sisters First: Stories from Our Wild and Wonderful Life by Jenna Bush Hager and Barbara Bush. The sisters alternate chapters in this memoir to tell stories from their lives together (from their two different perspectives) as well as some of their own unique experiences as individuals.

Another nonfiction choice is Furious Love: Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, and the Marriage of the Century by Sam Kashner and Nancy Schoenberger, quite the in-depth look at the lives and marriage of two Hollywood legends. Some of the editions only list one of the authors for some reason, but there are two.

I went with The Rise and Fall of D.O.D.O. by Neal Stephenson and Nicole Galland. It is all about the discovery of time travel (by way of witches), the bureaucratic creation of a working government program, and everything that can go wrong with time travel. It had very dry humor which made me laugh a few times in public (the government memos on acronym choices in particular was hilarious).

This book hits so many categories if you are interested: involving a heist, alliteration, time travel, animal in the title (it's a stretch but still), about Halloween (Halloween party is a big part), past Goodreads winner, and Recommended!

It is a memoir of Sammy Lee Davis, but has Caroline Lambert as a ghostwriter. I'm not sure ghostwriters fulfill the spirit of this prompt. Thoughts?

For something different (and because I'm currently obsessed with the musical Hamilton), I listened to the audiobook of Hamilton: The Revolution by Lin Manuel-Miranda and Jeremy McCarter. Very entertaining if you love the backstory of how a musical is created.
