Hello Everyone! I hope you enjoyed Rosemary's Baby! This selection was a pleasure to read and a quick page turner. Here are the Discussion Questions for our October Read:

((If you haven't finished--beware there may be spoilers!))

1.) Is the ending satisfying? If so, why? If not, why not...and how would you change it?
2.)If you could ask the author a question, what would you ask? Have you read other books by the same author? If so how does this book compare. If not, does this book inspire you to read others?
3.) What was the most terrifying part of the book?

Dawn Finamore | 4 comments I didn’t think the end was satisfying it felt real open ended but I guess that’s why there’s another book lol

The book actually wasn’t scary to me at all. I expected it to be quite a bit different than it was. But I will agree it was a page turner. I finished it in a day!

However I found the part where her husband drugs her in order for Satan to have sex with her a bit disturbing.

Overall I liked the book! Looking forward to seeing what is chosen for next month!

Felicia Hughes | 5 comments I liked how at the end she was struggling with her moral vs. maternal instincts. She can’t abide by bringing Satan’s child into the world yet...she IS his mother.

1. The ending was not entirely satisfying. I was REALLLLLY hoping for Rosemary to stop being such a merpy housewife and to do some really gnarly badass shit in the end. Stab a bunch of people maybe? Leap to her death with her demon spawn in a redeeming moment of doing the righteous thing? But as the ending scene unfolded, it become clear that she was going to take a different direction. The route felt a bit like comical relief, and that made the books tone feel like it made an entirely different style shift. Favorite part of the ending: Rosemary spitting a fat loogie at Guy!!!

2. I’d ask Ira, What would have happen to the baby’s development is Rosemary had stopped taking Tannis root? Normal baby?

3. I was the most terrified for Rosemary when she kept getting closer and closer with the creepy neighbors!

Meghan Bowling | 5 comments The ending made me wonder what will happen next. Will Rosemary care for her child even though she's ashamed of what he is?

This is one of those books where I can finish it without getting bored but I'm also not dying to read more by the author.

Rosemary's Baby wasn't scary for me however there were disturbing moments as said by other readers.
