#51 - Where I've had those in the past, I've made the decision to separate and merge into the anthology in the appropriate language. The guidance is somewhat unclear here as we can either merge into the identical work that is in the "wrong" language for the reader OR into the not-quite-identical work (the anthology) that is closer to the version the reader actually read.

If you don't mind doing the separate and combine, I'd appreciate it as I'm still working my way through the merges at the moment. If you don't have time I'll get to it soon :)

#38 - Leaving that one for now as I'm not certain if editions released on Fictionwise count as the same as ones with an ISBN, or are separate editions...

Oh, I hope so! Or something can be done at least... I'd suggest that there is a separate Questions thread for the specific question of "can we add ASINs to re-issued-as-Kindle editions where the original edition had no identifier and is technically not a book for Goodreads purposes". Err, phrased a little better than that though!
The Xuya series? That's where I started :) The author has re-released some of the works which were published in the magazines, but most of the rest should already be merged. Let me know if I missed any though! The series is still a series.

This process is going to take awhile, and it won't hurt them to hang out awhile longer. We'll get them all eventually.

Bears Discover Fire was originally published in Asimov's according to its Lightspeed entry. Bisson is not listed as an author for this story on the Asimov's editions in the database. However, Bisson later published an anthology Bears Discover Fire and Other Stories. It seems reasonable to merge with that. If so, I'll combine for you, and repost.

#75 - added the Nebula. Recommended reading aren't GR standard awards, so I left them in the description.
And I Awoke And Found Me Here on the Cold Hill's Side was originally published in The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, March 1972, but as we don't yet know whether these will be allowed to stay on GR, I find that it was also published by Tiptree in Ten Thousand Light-Years From Home a year later. I have fixed the awards to prepare for merge in one or the other, but will wait to see how to proceed. Still, I've done most of the research and part of the editing and wanted to preserve that info somewhere. ;-)

so separating the clarksworld editions and merge them and leaving the other alone? or leaving it with the different language edition? Do have all editions to be published on their own?
Seems weird having that different language then floating around alone... but as these english editions aren't published other than in Clarkesworld they probably shouldn't even be there so ... it would be alone too ...

I need nothing - just wanted to mention that nothing is needed and the award doesn't need to be entered (as we can't see a difference once combined)
