Wrong # in the series

A few days ago I asked for this book to be added to my author profile and the person who did it said they also added it to the proper series (which I forgot to ask). I never even checked until a reader pointed out that they numbered the book 5.7????? I don't understand at all, but this needs to be book #8, please and thank you

Actually, now that I'm looking, it looks like all the numbers are messed up? Who does that?

#1 Past Hurts
#2 For a Reason
#3 The Protector
#4 Their Reason
#5 Safety in Numbers
#6 His Premier
#7 Deciding on Forever
#8 Our Reason

That makes no sense when whole numbers are used every retailer. This is just confusing! I've had readers tell me they didn't leave a review because they weren't sure Our Reason 5.7 was the same as Our Reason 8.
