Darynda, Uncle Bob, and Cookie have been beating around the bush for quite sometime. I definitely feel like it'll come full circle.

I love how these books can go from silly to serious, that you get a break from both. The balance is important and well executed in all the books. Charley's relationship with Ubie seems so real, so natural for an uncle and niece that are particularly close. She can kid with him/prank him and it is all done in a kind spirit. She is the same way with Cookie and Garrett. The whole jealously game is just too cute and in keeping with Charley's mischievous personality. I kept waiting for Charley to get busted for her deviousness with something going terribly wrong.
