Nay (4ukcats) Me too, Paula. But I loved the series!! One of my all time faves—ohhh, the angst!

message 102: by Paula (new)

Paula White | 800 comments Reminds me of The Opportunist series which I think was out about the same time! I remember stalking both authors for the release dates of the next one in the series!

message 103: by Ela (new)

Ela | 4291 comments Oh yes Paula!!!!!!!!!! And then complaining about the Crossfire books not being out!

message 104: by Paula (new)

Paula White | 800 comments I gave up on the Crossfire books in the end..she added too many!!

shit. lost my comment. I was going to pick Hideaway for Kooloo, but I'm not sure if you've read Corrupt...and you have to have read book 1 before book 2 here. Punk 57 is amazing...and I think you'dc love it...but you seem to love series reads... hmnn condundrums. you have a KILLER list.

As much as I want to pick a P. Douglas book, or an Emma Scott, I think I have to pick Badger. it was such a well written book... just amazing. Enjoy!

message 107: by Kooloo (new)

Kooloo | 596 comments YAAAAAAYYYYYYY
I'll Do BOTH!!!

message 108: by Lisa (new)

Lisa Aiello (lisaaiello) | 2460 comments Badger was infuckingcredible. Yes, that's an actual adjective!!

message 109: by Kooloo (new)

Kooloo | 596 comments Lmao sooooooo how many candy corn shots did you have?!?

Thank you dear. Weren't you my picker last time too?? Or am I getting mixed up. Anyhoo, looking forward to this one :D

Love all of the comments. You guys are funny. BTW I accidentally typed 'cokments' (TRUE!!) but autocorrect saved the day LOL. (What's a cokment, she asks)

message 112: by Jan (new)

Jan (jan130) Nay, I am your picker! Sorry I'm so late pickin' but I'm away from home on a holiday with hubs and have been driving down the east coast of Tasmania all day! What a beautiful place. Google pics of Freycinet national park or Wineglass Bay if you want to see. Oh yeah..........

Leslie picked Love, in English for me and I saw that's on your list too! (Twins!) I could have picked it and we could have done a BR, but I saw The Skeleton King The Skeleton King (Dartmoor, #3) by Lauren Gilley on your list, which I love, so THAT"S MY PICK FOR YOU. THE SKELETON KING. ENJOY!!

I have just started Lauren Gilley's new pnr btw, White Wolf White Wolf (Sons of Rome, #1) by Lauren Gilley and have gotten hooked on that, so Love In English is gonna have to wait a little while.

message 113: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 2430 comments Jan, you picked for me last month.

message 114: by Nay (new)

Nay (4ukcats) Thanks, Jan! I've been needing this push to pick this series back up!

message 125: by Kooloo (new)

Kooloo | 596 comments 4.5 for Hideaway!!!! I liked it more than Michael's story, prob cause Banks was a little warrior vs Rika. Can't wait for Damon's fuckery to continue.
THANKS GREY xoxo

Grey | 2385 comments Mod
yay!!! love Hideaway love! I personally can't wait for Will's story. I mean, I think I'm gonna love him....

message 127: by Jean (new)

Jean | 1658 comments Kooloo. I can't believe how fast you finished that and I know I started before you. I'm at 60% and I like it more than Corrupt too. I'm liking Kai! Damon and Will's stories are both going to be good I think.

I'm sorry...I'M SORRY!!!! I'm an awful buddy. 😔

Seriously...Drowning Instinct, Badger, and Obsidian? How in the frickin' frack am I supposed to choose between those?!? I'm going to be completely selfish though because this is one Maryse and I read and BOTH of us were hugely affected by it...

Drowning Instinct by Ilsa J. Bick

I'm cracking up thinking of you pulling a "me" by thinking of a character and getting pissed off. LOL!!!

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Ooooh, I’m sooo sorry, I’ve been busy with work and one of my kids has been sick with an impacted wisdom tooth that got infected.

But I’m here now Jean....... after a long deliberation I decided on
ONE TRUE LOVE
By Taylor Jenkins Reid

For some reason I didn’t get the updates.
You will love this book Jean. So happy to pick for you.

And Fabi great choice I know I will love that.

message 133: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Jan, I have been down the East Coast of Tasmania and Wineglass bay is in the top 10 beaches in the world. It’s so beautiful there. We stayed at a place where the penguins came in from the ocean and walked up the sand dunes to their boxes. I loved it.

Ooh, Melinda, I’m so jealous! One of my dreams is to visit Tasmania! If I ever do get to Australia, that’s one of my stops!

message 138: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Renee, you just have to go in Summer, xmas time down here. As its south of the main land and cold in winter. But it's very beautiful. As is most of Australia.

message 139: by Jan (new)

Jan (jan130) http://www.australia.com/en-gb/places...

Rugged mountains meet a crystal clear aqua sea with white sand beaches ....... so beautiful.......

We're further south now, in Hobart, and the weather is @#$!!. Supposed to be only a few weeks till summer but there's been lots of cold rain and wind, plus SNOW on Mt Wellington which the city is built below. What the ????? Yes, Melinda, I think summer would be the best time to visit. I wouldn't come in winter! *shivers*

message 140: by Nay (last edited Nov 03, 2017 06:08PM) (new)

Nay (4ukcats) It all sounds so beautiful! (minus the cold rain--bummer, Jan!)

Melinda--just sent you a friend request on FB. I'm R.C. on there (because my name on each website just wasn't confusing enough! lol) I just don't get on FB very much, and I only want it for a reading/editing account, so I don't want my family or non-reading friends to find me on there--I know that sounds awful!! 🙃

message 141: by Kooloo (new)

Kooloo | 596 comments Ok I just finished Craving Midnight... and I think there is something wrong with me because I thought is was shit! BUT it got all these amazing reviews?!?

SERIOUSLY the story and the writing reminded me of a manic depressive speedballing crack!

ELA quick remove it from your TBR list before it infects the others!!!!

message 142: by Melinda (new)

Melinda Ruyten | 1027 comments Great Nay, I love fb. I’m going to post a photo my daughter just sent me. It is soo cute. She’s in Grampians in Victoria and there’s lots of Kangaroos there. This one photo is with kangaroo with a Joey in its pouch and it has its leg sticking out. Soooo cute.

You're welcome friend. No one else from the blog has read it since Maryse and I did, even though I've TRIED to get others to. 😉 Fingers crossed it works for you!

Amy (amy_nm) | 140 comments Ela wrote: "Oh is that fucktard Jack????"

NO! Fucktard is Jack Fuckhead Carter from The Perfect Game.

I loved Avoiding Commitment (even though I wanted to tie Jack's sack in a knot). Believe it or not - because I never would have believed it - he redeems himself in the third book. Well, at least for me he did. Shock of all freaking shocks.
