Forget by NA Alcorn is, for me, tells a story that you never want it to end. A beautiful and touching story of love, loss, heartache and discovery. A story of two people that were meant to find each other…..
The day after Millie’s funeral, Brooke travels to Paris to honor her request.
This is the beginning of a journey that will change Brooke’s life forever. And a meeting with a beautiful green-eyed man on the Metro will be a momentous moment that makes you believe that some things in your life are meant to be. I loved the scene where the two first meet and how Brooke tried to be cool and collected……
Dylan Bissette, gorgeous and beautiful…talented musician and the most incredible and endearing man.
-The immediate connection between Brooke and Dylan. Two souls meant to be together. The friendship that grew into love. How comfortable they felt with each other. The fun and laughter.
How much they had in common, their common love for music……
Even when Brooke held back on the secrets she had in her life
-I loved seeing the change in Brooke as the days flew by…..a month of the most incredible moments of happiness and her battle in trying to deal with what was waiting for her back home…
-I was astounded by the understanding and acceptance that Dylan showed Brooke when she told him about her uncertainties facing her and the struggle she had owing up to her feelings for him.
-The characters in this story were absolutely fabulous. I adored Brooke’s BFF, Lindsay….she was one of a kind and I would love to read her book someday. Dylan’s brother, Jesse, was totally lovable even when he was being a total man-whore!!! And the one I really loved was Millie. She was an incredible person…someone I would love to meet and become friends with.
-The twist of who and what about Dylan’s uncle’s story left me wanting to know more.
-Loved the writing……words that flowed so naturally that kept me captivated through each page I turned.
-Wow….each chapter heading is a title of a song…..how neat is that???? Jimmy Hendrix, Artic Monkeys, Rolling Stones, The Ramones…….it was a blast from the past!!!! I actually went onto YouTube and listened to the songs. Just made the story even more special.
This was one of my favorite books of 2015. It’s a story that will stay with me for a very long time.
I can’t wait for Blur, the continuation of Brooke and Dylan’s story.

It’s the most touchingly beautiful and haunting chapter in this book. The love that Millie had for Brooke was extraordinary……leaving a bucket list for things that she wanted Brooke to do in her life.

"I want to get drunk off his smile and have a million of his smile's half-British, half-French babies. His full lips make me think of French kisses, which lead me to think about him naked again. I'm hopeless."…….

“The greater the capacity to love, the greater the capacity to feel the pain.”-The Paris setting. I felt as if I was back there…..I recognized the streets, the places…..nostalgic memories of a time I spent in that city with my man when we were so very young…..the vividness was incredible…the smell of fresh baguettes, café au lait……

He’s wrecked me. My heart rolls out of my chest and into his.
What a fantastic book!!! It grabbed my heart from the very first page, and never let go.
She has become my constant distraction.
Brooke Sawyer has just had her heart broken. Her beloved grandmother, Millie, the most important person in her life, has just died. And she has no idea how to survive the pain. Luckily for her, her grandmother was a very wise woman, and knew just what Brooke would need after she was gone. Millie has always wanted Brooke to go to Paris, to experience the beauty of it, as she did so many years ago. And so she ensured that Brooke left right after her funeral for a month in Paris, hoping it would teach her granddaughter to live life, to place herself first for a change.
20. Fall in love. If it’s not with a man, then it will be with Paris. I promise, four weeks is enough time.
And with the bucket list her grandmother left her, Brooke finds that Paris is just as amazing as her grandmother said it would be. She never thought she would be able to complete all the numbers on the list, especially number 20, but once she meets Dylan Bisette her heart’s days were numbered.
Deep down, I’m desperate for the possibility that someone like him, so breathtaking, so full of life, could love a wreck like me.Falling in love with Dylan was not part of Brooke’s plan. She never thought someone as broken as her, could earn the love of such a man. A man who is determined to break down her walls, to make her realise what they could have. But Brooke has so many secrets, and one of them means that Dylan can’t be part of her future. She made promises, and her loyalty and her love for the people closest to her, means she has to keep her promise. Even if it breaks her heart.
This is what quicksand feels like, I think, as I sink into his gaze. I want him to swallow me whole.
Brooke was such a great character. So very broken, and after learning about what happened to her when she was little before she and her sister came to live with Millie, I came to understand her so much better. She has such a big heart, and when she loves, she does it completely, and would do anything for them, even give up what she wants and needs.
I’d let her tear me apart if it meant she’d put me back together in the end.
I LOVED Dylan. This sexy Englishman with his tattoo sleeves, musical talent, and dirty talking had me swooning the entire book!! I loved the nickname he gave Brooke, how he would speak in French to her, how possessive he was over her, and how hard he pursued her.
“Believe me, I know it’s overwhelming, but I also know that I can’t deny it. I can’t not try to find out what this is between us. I’m certain that whatever it is, Brooke, whatever is pulling us together, is something worth exploring.”
The romance was AMAZING!!! I loved the instant attraction they had, the chemistry between them was intense and consuming and just freaking hot!!! The sexy times were SCORCHING, especially with Dylan’s dirty talk, and ability to drive Brooke wild. They were just perfect for each other.
He was the love of my life, and even though our love affair was short-lived, I have no regrets.
I loved how we got to learn more about Millie, about her experience in Paris. About the love she discovered there, and the love she had to let go. Two people who were so very much in love, and who because of circumstances that have not been revealed yet could not stay together. And you could see with the little things that were revealed about both of their lives, that their lives afterwards was never complete. Both suffered without the other. It broke my heart that history seemed to be repeating itself with Brooke and Dylan.
I guess that’s how you know you really love someone, when you’d rather they forget you altogether than deal with the pain.
I think I just ruined the best thing I ever had.
But it was inevitable. I made promises, and I intend to keep those promises.
This book ends on a big cliffhanger, but luckily for me the second installment is available, and I can’t wait to find out why Brooke had to break her and Dylan’s hearts in the end. To find out if this time history will be different.
This was my first book by this author, and I was blown away by the emotional impact this book had on me. I’m not a fan of angst, but damn she made it work in this book. It was the perfect blend of powerful feelings, of a love and romance that will hook it’s talons in you, and not let go. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

CLIFFHANGER ALERT!
God, I hate giving mediocre ratings.
I gave it 3 stars, because this author can write... and actually, she can write really, really good.
This was my first book by this author, and I was pleasantly surprised.
Let me just mention positive aspects of this book:
I am a huge music fan, so musical references in this book were absolutely a big plus.
Book is set in Paris, and again, french capital is one of my favourite places in the world, one of few cities I always come back to. Hero is half english, half french and a musician. Yeah, I mean, come on! Yummy! :)
This story had all the element to be simply epic, but somehow there was just something missing... and the biggest problem is, I can't put my finger on it. Right after first 30% I started skimming a lot.
The story... well... either this is was plain boring, or I just read too many similar books... can't really tell.

I feel raw.
I feel a little bit broken.
I feel angry, and frustrated, and all hyped up.
I feel like I just read something amazing.
One month in the City of Love. Paris. A chance to experience that grand city after a lifetime of hardship. For Brooke Sawyer, the trip was supposed to teach her something and open her eyes... She wasn't supposed to fall in love.
But Dylan Bissette, with his tattoos and the perfect musical chemistry he shares with her, gave Brooke no choice... Now, the weight of her past and her secrets threaten to ruin everything.
If asked to describe this book, I would call it a beautiful contradiction. Much like strong, broken, shy, crazy Brooke, Forget is two very different things. Two very different, wonderful things.
It’s completely charming, cute and funny. The way Brooke and Dylan banter and play with each other is excellent; it's flirtatious and fun, and it feels like their connection is a moving, breathing thing. Their initial meeting still makes me chuckle as I think about it, and may be my favorite meet-cute of all time. It's certainly up there. Likewise, the relationships these two have with the secondary characters are spot-on. They give insight and body to this story, adding to it, never taking away from it. Plus, the music that threads though this book, from the perfect nickname (Little Wing is..gah, I fucking SWOONED whenever Dylan called her that!), to the chapter titles, will make you feel like you’re experiencing more than just a book. Reading Forget is like living a musical, too.
It’s confusing, angsty and heart-breaking. Brooke’s past made me ache inside. I could feel it holding her back. I hated it. I loved it. And Jamie…Mysterious Jamie, who casts a shadow over the whole book and whose name had me prophesying all kinds of out there outcomes. His mere name was the reason my hands grasped at my cheeks, as I stalled at about 90%, wanting desperately to read on but terrified of the inevitable cliffhanger.
Forget is definitely a contradiction. I'm so fucking happy to have read this book, because I giggled, guffawed and snorted. But my poor heart is kind of broken and desperate; desperate for Blur so I can get closure. And so I can get more of Little Wing and Bright Eyes. How fun would it be to just let loose and forget about the real world, and go on a vacation for one month to Paris?? Although Brooke's heart is broken over the death of her grandmother, Millie, the 27 year old takes the bucket list left for her, and heads across the big pond. Even with Millie gone, her presence was felt throughout and she was one fun loving grandma!
The author made me swoon for not only a man in this story, but a city!! The food, the scenery, the music of Europe made me drool for all different reasons! Very well written and captivating.
Dylan "…is the guy a woman looks at once, twice and then three more times because she can’t believe he's real." With his English accent, emerald eyes and amazing voice, he is one book boyfriend I will not Forget. I want to have his fictional babies. Holy cute and demanding, Dylan…the dimple, the cockiness, the sweet-nothings in Brooke's ears made me jealous!!
Brooke, the ”size of Tinkerbell", she blurts out embarrassing thoughts and then chastises herself immediately after. Getting inside her head with her journal entries (another request of Grandma's) helps make her feel like a real woman with normal insecurities, yet tough as nails and hilarious on the outside.
I am a wholehearted LOVER of music and need it daily in my life, yet I usually cringe reading most books with musician. They feel cheesy and forced. This book? Perfection. The adorable way Brooke and Dylan "meet-cute" (serendipity), to the many music references, were placed in the story perfectly. The anticipation of their relationship was cute and steady.
Brooke's best friend, Lindsay, and their "constant stream of inside jokes," oddly enough, made me feel like one of their friends! Or at least WANT to be. Many laugh out loud moments on my couch!
I enjoyed how the title, Forget, was woven throughout the story for different reasons. With the romantic city, cute-yet-alpha Englishman, authentic characters and a smooth, enjoyable story line, this book has it all. Loved it! I want more! ~ Krissy, 5 stars

Holy freaking cliffhanger!
This book gave me the same feels as S.C Stephens' Thoughtless series. Not the same storyline, but just the same feels!
Brooke had just lost the most important person in her life, her grandmother. Her last dying wish to Brooke was to go to Paris and let go, live life, enjoy the city.....and in making sure that happens, she leaves Brooke an airline ticket and a bucket list for Paris.
Brooke's friend Lindsey joins her for a short time there and their antics had me cracking up! What a great friend. And then there's Dylan.....swoon!!!! Their initial meeting (meet-cute) was so funny. And then it begins. The whirlwind romance that takes place between them is wild. I fell in love with both of them in Paris!
Turns out the Brit, Dylan, is the lead singer of a local band, and Brooke's involvement in the music business is kept from him. I was so anxious, knowing her secrets were going to catch up with her at some point!
Brooke is holding back info from Dylan, thinking she'll be leaving soon and everything between them will be over. I WANTED TO GRAB HER BY THE NECK AND SHAKE HER AND SLAP HER SILLY!!!! WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST BE HONEST WITH HIM BROOKE?
And then! For the damn book to end the way it did?!?!? WTF? Of course I had to jump right into Blur (thankfully out already or I would have freaked)!

Dang if this author hasn't done it again!!
Brooke is grieving the loss of her grandmother. A grandmother any of us would wish for. Millie. Millie is/was obviously a dreamer and has passed her dreams along to her granddaughter, Brooke.
As a last request, she sends Brooke to Paris to dream, explore, find love. And Lord, does Brooke find it all! Enter Dylan (who is MINE by the way. No, really, I licked him) Dylan is just what Millie ordered. Young, cocky, hot and well, you know...
Their time together is amazing! I got lost in their time with each other. Their relationship was just natural. Fate.

5+ Little Wing and Bright Eyes Stars
Delilah Brooke Morning-Rain Sawyer aka "Brooke," known to her beloved Grandmother, Millie, as Lilah Belle has had a tragic life, until Millie took custody of she and her sister Ember when they were young. Now 26 twenty-six, Booke has lost Millie, who has been her world, to cancer. Millie leaves a letter instructing Brooke to go to Paris the day after her funeral, write in a journal, and complete the bucket list she's made for Brooke.
The first day in Paris, Brooke meets Dylan Bissette on the the metro while trying to sneak a photo of him on her phone to send to her best friend Lindsay, an internationally known model. Dylan is immediately taken with Brooke. He tries to get her to tell him her name, but only is able to write his number on her hand before she gets off at her stop.
Shocked by her reaction to him, Brooke tries to put the encounter out of her mind. But fate has other intentions. Soon Lindsay, who surprised her by showing up in Paris, and Brooke are at Au Fait - The Bar with the best Bloody Mary's, and Milly has instructed her to meet with the owner, who has a letter for her. While at the bar, they meet a young bartender named Jesse, who seems familiar to Brooke.
Turns out Jesse is Dylan's younger brother, and they are part of local up-and-coming band. They spend the rest of Brooke's time in Paris together, completing her bucket list, talking music, finishing each other sentences, and getting to know each other. Brooke has never felt the way she feels about any other man as she feels for Dylan. Yes, she loves Jamie, her best friend since moving in with Millie, but that feeling is very different.
Brooke's biggest dilemma, is that she has a secret. One she can't tell Dylan and she fears if she tells Jamie how things are with she and Dylan, he won't be able to handle it.
The story goes back and forth into the past then forward to the present, so you get little snippets of how Brooke's life was before she ended up with Millie and what happened to her. I have to say, though it took me a while to finish the book, it was amazingly good. I have been in this funny/sexy reading path for a while and I think that colored my view a little when I started reading this book. It was hilarious in some parts and then it would hit my heart and cause me to cry in others. I couldn't handle the tears, so I would put it aside to take a break. But I'm so glad I finished it. Now that I have, I can't wait to read Blur and discover what happens next with Brooke and Dylan.
I loved how the author gave us both of their POV's so you can understand what Dylan was thinking and why he fell so hard for Brooke. You will understand why he calls her "Little Wing" and his brother calls her "Tinkerbell."
I've always had a desire to go to Paris. It's always been my bucket list location, even though I speak not a stitch of French. Now 26 twenty-six, Booke has lost Millie, who has been her world, to cancer. Millie leaves a letter instructing Brooke to go to Paris the day after her funeral, write in a journal, and complete the bucket list she's made for Brooke.
The first day in Paris, Brooke meets Dylan Bissette on the the metro while trying to sneak a photo of him on her phone to send to her best friend Lindsay, an internationally known model. Dylan is immediately taken with Brooke. He tries to get her to tell him her name, but only is able to write his number on her hand before she gets off at her stop.
Shocked by her reaction to him, Brooke tries to put the encounter out of her mind. But fate has other intentions. Soon Lindsay, who surprised her by showing up in Paris, and Brooke are at Au Fait - The Bar with the best Bloody Mary's, and Milly has instructed her to meet with the owner, who has a letter for her. While at the bar, they meet a young bartender named Jesse, who seems familiar to Brooke.
Turns out Jesse is Dylan's younger brother, and they are part of local up-and-coming band. They spend the rest of Brooke's time in Paris together, completing her bucket list, talking music, finishing each other sentences, and getting to know each other. Brooke has never felt the way she feels about any other man as she feels for Dylan. Yes, she loves Jamie, her best friend since moving in with Millie, but that feeling is very different.

Goodness where do I begin? This author has officially made it onto my favourites list. She is that amazing. I haven't touched a book of hers yet that hasn't touched me deeply in some way shape or form!! If you haven't taken a chance on her yet, please hesitate no longer!!
This book was so beautifully written and entranced me from the first page! Millie's letter grabbed a hold of me something fierce. I could not stop reading!! And once I finished this book, I couldn't even write a review because I just had to know what the heck was next in Blur. What an awesome journey!! I think this is the first "musician book" in which I found the characters completely relatable and the music references were incredibly well thought out. I won't lie. There were some instances during which I had to take a quick trip to YouTube just so that I could be in the moment with the characters. I'm not that quick to recognize the lyrics lol. But it made the experience all the better. The interactions between all of the characters was so unique yet so normal. Interactions I could see myself having with my own circle of friends. And the chemistry between Dylan and Brooke? Off the freakin charts!! We can only be so lucky in life and love to find someone so in tune with our souls. The theme of serendipity throughout this book was so touching and felt so real that I couldn't help developing a real connection with these fictional characters. I can be honest and say that where this book was lighthearted and hilarious (with way too many secrets being held by Brooke), Blur was extremely tear jerking, emotional, dramatical, heartrending, painful, bittersweet and absolutely amazing!! I don't regret one moment of this ride. The only issue I had was that I needed Brooke to finally live for herself. She constantly worried about everyone else's happiness and neglected her own. She loved wholeheartedly (which is so uncommon these days) and her love was beautiful, but sometimes it came at a huge cost to herself.
I'm off to do a review for Blur because I just have so many wonderful things to say about these books!

I absolutely adore books that allow me to travel to the locations as I read. And Forget does this for me! I was able to be transported from the pages and to the beautiful city of Paris. Forget was the a beautiful love story, not only about love but about learning to accept loss and use that as a form of opening a new door. Being open to new places and experiences, Brooke has a meets a hot guy in the most craziest ways. I died from embarrassment of the character when it happened! I was able to connect with Brooke, in all her endeavors.
These characters were real to me. I could definitely hang out with them in Paris, eating the delicious foods, seeing the scenery, and experiencing the night life. All of it made me want to get on a plane and travel to this gorgeous place.
I recommend reading this book to the traveler that can’t quite leave their home. The reader that wouldn’t have the opportunity to see a beautiful part of the world can be transported and have the place right at their fingertips. Steamy scenes will fog up your kindle, for sure! And let’s not forget about the ending…gah I need the next book now! Must find out what happens to Brooke and Dylan!!! 4 smooches for Forget by N.A Alcorn.

I loved this book..everything about it. The humor, angst, friendship, love, even the fucked up choices that were made. LOVED it..top book of the year for me. This author has a direct line to my reading soul. She writes with such passion that I am completely and utterly connected to every thing that happens, whether I like the results or not. I can not wait for the next book to come out. Like stalking fan girl can't wait..If I could sit in her lap whilst she types it out, I WOULD. I need Dylan and Brooke...like my lungs need air. Like my glass needs moscato...yeah that much!

Bloody hell! That ending hurt. Thank goodness the next book is already out because I'm desperate to know what will happen!
I enjoyed this book immensely. I loved the characters. Especially Dylan, the hero, who is half French, half English, ALL SEXY. *melts* The music incorporated within the pages was beautiful. The love story was beautiful and heartbreaking. And the rich descriptions of Paris made me feel like I was there. Well done!

Forget by N. A. Alcorn tells the story of Brooke, an American visiting Paris, who meets and starts to fall heart first for Dylan, a half British half French swoon worthy musician. It follows these two as their serious sparks start to fly, and they find themselves having many more feelings than either of them planned for.
I have to say that I loved every single phenomenally vibrant word of this book.
I loved Brooke and how fantastically authentic and truly wonderful she was. I loved Dylan and was completely under his charming spell in about a nanosecond. I loved that I laughed hysterically more times than I could count. I loved all of the varied and thoughtfully crafted emotion and heat and vulnerability that weaved its way so superbly throughout this book. I loved how music played such an integral part to the plot, to these characters, and to all they experience.

It was just phenomenal to experience from beginning to end, and I couldn’t get enough of Brooke and Dylan and their heart squeezing story. This author’s outstanding writing brought these two and their book world to life, and I for one cannot wait for the chance to spend more times with these utterly amazing characters.
Brooke was such a fantastic character to get to know, and I loved that I got to know the “real” her over the course of this story. You see many sides to Brooke, the side she puts up to protect herself and then the side that is really her. As you read Forget you will really get to know the real Brooke, aka Paris Brooke, and her vulnerability and rawness will just blow you away because of what it exemplifies about her. She is just so real, and the more you read the more you’ll understand why Brooke is the way she is. When you find out what this girl has gone through, and what she goes through in this book your heart will instantly go to her.
Now Dylan’s charming self practically stole my heart the instant he and Brooke meet. That man is sweet, and seriously stinking hot, and did I mention the fact that he’s a musician? The more you get to know Dylan’s character the more you’ll want to spend time with him just like Brooke because the pull and just magic that is him is irresistible. That man also feels so much, and I loved the instances in which I got into his head to really feel everything that he does. I am telling you now that there is no way that you can resist him, especially when you start to feel and experience what he shares with Brooke.
Let me tell you that these two had an instant connection that this author phenomenally creates. You feel it the instant they meet and their connection just pulls you into them because of the sparks these two share. It is fiery, it is hot as all get out, and it just burns off the page in such a way that brings a certain kind of blush to your face. It also just makes you realize the power of what these two share together.
Now Millie just might be my favorite character in this book, behind Dylan and Brooke of course. I loved that lady and the wisdom and meaning that surrounded her. The words that she shared, the memories she evokes, and just the power that is her is just beautiful and so utterly meaningful. The power of Millie will just warm your heart. It’ll make you think and feel and wonder about the possibilities this world holds, and it’ll make you want to live your life the way that Millie did, with no regrets. Trust me on that one!

That city is almost like a third main character in this book, and I loved that I was fully encapsulated within the magic it evoked throughout this entire book. That magic just brought this book and these characters to life because I felt like I was right there with them feeling and experiencing that vibrant feel of the city with them, which was extraordinary to experience while reading.
Now this book brings up a lot of questions, some of which are answered and some of which aren’t. (But stay tuned folks because there’s a book 2 that I cannot wait for!) I loved how those questions perfectly came up throughout what was happening with Brooke and Dylan. Those questions intrigued me and made me that much more enthralled with what I was reading because I couldn’t wait to figure out what was going to happen next, and if I was going to get an answer to one of those fantastic questions I had. Honesty plays an interesting and phenomenal role in Forget. There are so many raw and vulnerable moments from both of these characters where they are both so fantastically honest. Moments where they put it all out there on display for the other to see. Then there are moments where there’s not so much honesty, where you know there is more going on beneath the surface, and those moments are just as telling. Those moments surrounding honesty fit so magnificently into the story, and just illuminated so much about Brooke and Dylan.
Having read all of N.A. Alcorn’s other books, I was none too surprised to find myself laughing hysterically more often than not in this book. Through Brooke’s inner thoughts, her conversations with her best friend Lindsay, and through some seriously engaging moments with Dylan, I could not stop laughing at what was being said. That laughter broke up the tension and build in this book so fantastically, and it just made me love reading this book because of the laughs that it brought.

Sometimes when a book is based in England the jargon annoys me…all those whilsts, boots of the car, knickers, vest, etc. But never have I read where an English character says shagged. Here I thought that was only an Austin Powers word, but when sexy French-born/raised-in-England Dylan says it there’s no bad teeth, only sexy tattoos and the imagery is much more pleasant.
Brooke is 26 years old and is grieving her beloved grandmother in the way that grandma Millie wanted her to, by taking an all-expense paid trip to Paris complete with Millie’s bucket list planned out for Brooke. She will be taking a 4 week vacation, and initially Brooke was a little hesitant to let herself be a free person in Paris, but then she met Dylan on a train, albeit a very embarrassing meeting, it was where they first made eye contact with each other.
Dylan is 27 years old and helps his father in the pub business. Dylan and his brother are members of a band and that is where Dylan’s heart belongs. Dylan is full of life, always wanting to have a good time. He gives Brooke his number, but Brooke is a little less gutsy than Dylan and even though she wants to, she never gives him a call. Sometimes you just have to leave it in the hands of fate to take over.
“After a few days went by without a word, I was starting to wonder if I dreamed the whole thing,” he mutters quietly.
Brooke makes her life more complicated than it needs to be. She used to be fun, energetic, and daring. Now she is conservative and never takes a chance. She is hung up on her life back home with Jamie. I know you’re saying “WHAT?” There is something between Jamie and Brooke but it’s never fully revealed what it is that is holding them together.
I keep his secrets, and he keeps mine. He has trusted me with the darkest, most painful parts of his life, and holding onto that trust will always be a priority. I won’t hurt him. Our relationship is complicated…
It’s weird what’s happening. There’s this entirely different life back in LA that keeps Brooke grounded but yet with Dylan she lets go and becomes the person that’s become a figment of her past. She and Dylan have a great time together and even have great shagging times. I want them to be together, and they want to be together so what is the hold up?
“Believe me, I know it’s overwhelming, but I also know that I can’t deny it. I can’t not try to find out what this is between us. I’m certain that whatever it is, Brooke, whatever is pulling us together, is something worth exploring.”
Brooke is in Paris for 4 weeks…time is slipping down to one week remaining. They both avoid mentioning the inevitable that their time is coming to an end. Which one will finally speak up? What will happen at the close of her vacation? There is so much taking place behind the scenes that will eventually come to a head, but for now you are left forming your own hypothesis as a few things are revealed near the end and especially in the brief glimpse we get at the second book.
I will never forget about you, about us, but it’s okay if you need to let us go, I’ll understand.
I am a huge music fan and I always enjoy reading a book where the characters can find music to incorporate into their conversations and their common interests. There are great secondary characters adding a lot of humor to the story. I will definitely be counting down the days until I get Dylan in my hands again. This was my first book by Ms. Alcorn and it was a great way to discover her. The story was very good and it contained depth that I am always looking for in the characters, their thoughts, and the scenes. We are treated to hearing Dylan’s thoughts a time or two. One particular chapter in his view left an impression on me that I stored in the back of my brain thinking this will come back to cause trouble in the next book. Bring me the angst! I’ll be ready.

A very embarrassing but HILARIOUS meeting between strangers Brooke and Dylan is going to go down as one of my favourite 'first meeting' EVER!!!!! Dylan, the GORGEOUS, tattooed, sex haired, half Brit/half French, dirty talking, charming, BRAND NEW LOVE OF MY LIFE (yep, that is a dibs right there and I will cut a bitch if anyone says otherwise) is just EVERYTHING I want and so much more from a lead male character!
The connection and chemistry between these two characters was just off the freaking charts and written so beautifully that my heart was ready to burst!
Supporting characters were a wonderful addition to this story and I connected with them, their humour and the LIFE they brought to this story!
The humour, hurt, healing, harmonies and the HELLA HOT steamy scenes..... *WARNING.....ICED WATER.....BUCKETS OF IT YOU WILL NEED* were delivered so perfectly that I don't know how I'm going to pick up another book!!!! I love everything about the journey the experienced together and the way we also get a few POV's from Dylan....seriously that GORGEOUS MAN....HE ROCKED MY DAMN WORLD!
I don't want to spoil it! I can't tell you what happens, because you need to feel it on a personal level!!! BUT.... I NEED ANSWERS! There are secrets, and I need to know what the hell is going on! THIS STORY IS A CLIFFHANGER! That is what I will tell you! I live for those babies! Because what I am feeling now.....THE BUZZ, THE SHOCK, THE THRILL, THE EVERYTHING! Forget is really going to make it very hard for me to forget this book. Dylan and Brooke are one perfect couple. Everything about them was just perfect - they fit to a tea they were made for each other.
Brooke is pretty shy and reserved and always puts everyone before herself. She thinks about herself last. She has a heart of gold and will go absolutely out of her way for everyone. Her grandmother was her pride and joy and Brooke was devastated when she lost her but she granted her wish in going to Paris for a nice month long vacation and cross out her bucket list that Millie created for her as she went ahead and accomplished the task. The last thing she expected was to meet a drop dead gorgeous French/English man who really tested her waters.
Dylan is a musician and he is drop dead gorgeous, with tattoo's that gives him the bad boy look, yet he's the opposite of a bad boy. He is very laid back and has a pretty awesome sense of humor. He knows how to lay down the charm, that's for sure and damn, that filthy dirty mouth of his makes my mouth water as I'm reading along and let's not forget that my underwear start to sizzle! W
The humor was spectacular in this book, it had me laughing at times and sad at others. What Brooke went through as a child is no joke and it shouldn't happen to any child, but nothing in life is honky dory and some children suffer more than others, some are born into wealth and luxury, while others struggle one way or another. I totally fell in love with Dylan, he's a typical guy that any girl would fall head over heels in love with. He understood Brooke and accepted her, even with her baggage and damaged goods as she called it. Dylan really knows how to pleasure Brooke, something she's never experienced and maybe it had a lot to do with her childhood, but he sure brought out the beast in her and she lost all control and inhibitions.
Total worth the read and now I'm desperately awaiting for book 2 to come out and continue this journey and see what and where it takes us. Couldn't have picked a better place than Paris for this book to take place and for such a beautiful English/French guy to have just swooped Brooke off her feet.
It was heart wrenching and heart warming all wrapped up together. This book will totally have you swooning and desperately seeking for the 2nd installment. You really need to read this book, I tell ya, it's worth every single minute of your time to sit down and read it. I guarantee you that you will not regret it ;)

Dylan is a musician and he is drop dead gorgeous, with tattoo's that gives him the bad boy look, yet he's the opposite of a bad boy. He is very laid back and has a pretty awesome sense of humor. He knows how to lay down the charm, that's for sure and damn, that filthy dirty mouth of his makes my mouth water as I'm reading along and let's not forget that my underwear start to sizzle! W
The humor was spectacular in this book, it had me laughing at times and sad at others. What Brooke went through as a child is no joke and it shouldn't happen to any child, but nothing in life is honky dory and some children suffer more than others, some are born into wealth and luxury, while others struggle one way or another. I totally fell in love with Dylan, he's a typical guy that any girl would fall head over heels in love with. He understood Brooke and accepted her, even with her baggage and damaged goods as she called it. Dylan really knows how to pleasure Brooke, something she's never experienced and maybe it had a lot to do with her childhood, but he sure brought out the beast in her and she lost all control and inhibitions.
Total worth the read and now I'm desperately awaiting for book 2 to come out and continue this journey and see what and where it takes us. Couldn't have picked a better place than Paris for this book to take place and for such a beautiful English/French guy to have just swooped Brooke off her feet.
It was heart wrenching and heart warming all wrapped up together. This book will totally have you swooning and desperately seeking for the 2nd installment. You really need to read this book, I tell ya, it's worth every single minute of your time to sit down and read it. I guarantee you that you will not regret it ;)
N.A. Alcorn really knew how to weave the story perfectly and it was exceptionally well written.

I received this for an honest review.. OMG this is one of those books where when done you will say OMG did I just read that!! I have to say that I need the next book in this series LIKE NOW!!!

Amazing, great, awesome, wow!
This book completely blew me away. It is such a roller coaster of emotions. It starts with sadness due to the death of the heroine's grandmother. This book is a love story but not only a romantic love story but a story of love to your family, to your friends who are like family, to your soul mate and also a story of loyalties.
I lost my grandmother and can definitely relate to the feelings in this book. It is just so real. Don't get me wrong, this book has also funny parts, sexy parts and swoon worthy parts. I am very glad I found it and it now one of my favorites.

This author has done it again !!!
This book gah...there are so many feelings going on right now. This book starts off mourning her recently departed grandmother Mille , going to Paris is her last dying wish. There she meets Dylan a sexy rocker and the connection is just bam ! Their spark is undeniable and the feels , their chemistry is spot on. Though Brookes grieving , shes truly living for the first time in years. I can't wait for more time with Brooke and Dylan !

This book will make you feel an array of emotions. I cried, I laughed, I was spelled by the music references, the steamy parts, the romance! And Paris! I read this book until 3am and I don't regret anything. Amazing love story! And please you might just as well get the second book now!
