10 a day is good. I might get behind on this one but will still finish by Saturday I'm sure.
My sister is coming to visit for a couple of days and she's leaving her kids here for the week while she goes to her class reunion. I've been trying to come up with things to do to keep them entertained while they are here. Should be fun :)

They said it was a scheduling conflict. I don't like it either. :(
Marsters does the rest.
Check out this clip I found:

^^ Marsters on audio books and his Tootoot voice. :)

Sounds like a LOT of fun! I hope you enjoy it, Sheri!
Are her kids of similar age to yours?

I hate it when they do that in the middle of a series, especially if you're listening to the whole thing. You get used to one voice and then have it change. Plus, Marsters is just a freaking awesome narrator.

They are 10 and 7 - my two youngest are 9 and 6. They get along well. They are actually my sister's step-kids, so we've only met them a couple of times before, so this will be good to get to know them better.

That's great, Sheri! It makes it easier when they are similar in ages and get along.

Molly has gone crazy but she developed so power. The world has gone to crap without Harry. Love Murphy!

There's really nothing pertinent to the story you miss by not reading the short stories, but you should still read them :) In Aftermath you sort of get to see how that group in the living room came together.

I know! We've missed a lot in that six months. I guess I can see why it was done that way - so we could really see how the world would would be without Harry - but still...

Is it because Harry's gone , the Red Court, or a combination of both that the world has gone to crap? Butter's has come into his own with bobble head Bob.
I think it's probably a combination if the two. Like Murphy said there is a huge empty while where the Red Court used to be that all the other supernaturals are fighting for. But Harry did a lot to keep things in check, probably without really trying to. He was the one really powerful wizard who did what was right and would take down the bad guys, no matter the cost, and the bad guys knew that. With him out of the picture, there was no one really who cared and enough and who was powerful enough to stop them.
Some of the White Counsil probably care, but they're busy trying to deal with the aftermath of the Red Court being gone.
Do you think Kincaid is the shooter?
Murphy is a little scary now with all her badness and total disregard for the legal system.

I love Murphy.
If Kincaid is brought up as a possibility you're further than I am, but...I would like to think that he wouldn't actually hurt Harry. He said he would at one time if the price was right, I mean he is a hired killer after all, but I'd liked to think that Kincaid has some code of ethics, and him and Harry had been through a lot together.

Molly, you know who I most want to ask about
it's like a man gets a daughter and suddenly forgets the years of "MY ONLY FAMILY" .. like srsly.
Alyssia, I was wondering about that too. We have heard about everyone else except Thomas. What is up with that?
WOW! The last few chapters blew me away! I so didn't see that coming! Where are y'all so we can discuss?
I'm on 25 right now. Harry just met up with Fitz.
Molly really has lost it, hasn't she? And Harry is the one who thinks it was Kincaid...interesting. I actually like this story so far. I love the idea of a ghost finding his own killer. Lea is a surprise.

I was shocked by the twist of his death/killer. I was wondering about Mab too. Lea was there so why not Mab? Everyone has changed since Harry's death some not necessarily for the better.

:(
But hopefully soon.
I'm working on midterms reports and my Dresden interest was just not there. I'll try to catch up though.
Are we reading something else this week or skipping a week? I would love to start the next Mercy Thompson book.

I've even done some reading, but it's been really light, easy stuff. I haven't felt in the mood for 'thinking' books.
no effort required, you know?
We understand, Alyssia. Whatever we read I will have to read quick because we are going out of town.
It is my nephew's birthday Thursday and he wanted to go to the lake. Our family, their family and some of his friends are all going up there Thursday and coming back Sunday. I will be offline during that time. It should be fun...fishing,swimming and a lot of family time. YAY!
How's the reading Alyssia? Will you be ready for more Dresden or do you need more time. I don't mind the break if you need more time for it :)

Thanks for waiting for me

Go Justine though. Finally.
I love me a woman of action.
Also, Harry is a big old butt. Just saying. He was awful to Molly. Awful.
This one was better crafted than a lot of the books. There was more to look back at and more to consider. I liked that.
But it still took me forever to finish.
