I found this book amusing and very entertaining. The narrator added to the story with the voice of Manuel.

PattyMacDotComma Whistleblower Christopher Wylie tells how information he and others collected to figure out how to prevent radicalisation of Muslim youth was used by Steve Bannon to give us Trump, Brexit, and militant alt-right hate groups instead! Fascinating and terrifying. Mindf*ck: Inside Cambridge Analytica’s Plot to Break the World

Leslie | 16369 comments I finished Kafka's The Castle yesterday. While I could intellectually see the humor in the book, it never did make me even smile. Instead, I just remained puzzled. Oh well, every classic isn't for everyone... I give this 2.5*

Tamara Agha-Jaffar | 1413 comments I finished The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates. It included some magical realism. It was strong in some areas but I felt it was weak in others.

Tamara Agha-Jaffar | 1413 comments Finished Kudos by Rachel Cusk. This is book 3 in her trilogy. I loved all three books. Her books may not be for everyone because very little happens. But I think she is a very talented writer.

Tamara Agha-Jaffar | 1413 comments Read The Housekeeper and the Professor by Yōko Ogawa recommended by Raul. I picked it up after reading Raul's review. It's a charming novel about human connection. I loved its quiet simplicity. Thanks, Raul!

Leslie | 16369 comments I have just finished Thud!, the 34th Discworld book (going by publication date). I love Pratchett's sense of humor and am so grateful to Heather for introducing me to this series back in 2012 as part of the recommendation swap. Since then, I have been slowly working my way through the series and now I only have 5 or 6 books left... just in time to start rereading some of the ones I read over 5 years ago!
