NOVEMBER '17 SERIAL READER CHALLENGE

November - Full Beaver Moon

This was the time to set beaver traps before the swamps froze, to ensure a supply of warm winter furs. Another interpretation suggests that the name comes from the fact that the beavers are now actively preparing for winter.

TO PARTICIPATE IN THE NOVEMBER CHALLENGE:

♦Pick five series that you want to read.

♦It can be a new or an on-going series.

♦Post the name of the series and the covers of at least two books that you have not read.

♦There must be at least two unread books in the series. No re-reads allowed.

♦You may re-post a series chosen before as long as there are at least two unread books.

♦Post series now through October 20th.

♦Pairs will be posted on October 21st.

♦Select a series for your partner between October 21st and 25th...sooner is better

New to the challenge? The thread for challenge guidelines and questions is here

Comments on this thread will be limited to members posting series until the 21st. After pairs are selected, the thread is open for discussion.

Jess I had a tough time choosing between the Maisie Dobbs series and the Flavia deLuce series as I enjoy both so much. However, since Maisie is new to you I chose it. (I listen to them on audiobook from my library and they are a good listen also. The narrator changed after the second book I believe and she is even better than the first narrator.)

Hope you enjoy them!
